Kacey walked down to the lake waiting for both Mikah and Ian. She was a bit worried about them both meeting. Mainly for Ian. She hoped they would like each other but if they didn't that would be ok to.
Ian walked down the path to the lake to where he was going to meet Kacey and her boyfriend. Ian kept his hands in his pockets as he roun ded the corner and saw Kacey waiting on the grass a little down the path. ian walked down the path and then over next to Kacey. "Hey." he said noticing her boyfriend hadn't shown up yet.
Mikah was hurrying down to the lake, being slightly nervous for meeting Kacey's friend. He didn't want the girl to be uncomfortable or anything. He sighed as he reached her and smiled.
Sorry for being late, my sister got ahold of a phone to call me and I didn't realize the time.
He said lightly as he shook his head and stood besides Kacey. He was not good with social situations.
Kacey smiled at the two. "Ian this is Mikah, Mikah this is Ian." Kacey said glancing over at Ian then Mikah. She was glad to see them both together, they were her two most favorite people at the academy and she needed them to like each other and if they didn't she needed them to pretend like they did.
Mikah took his hand and shaking it as he grinned at the male. Hey. Soo, what has this mischievous little girl said about me?
He said jokingly, sticking his tongue out at Kacey.
"Not too much actually." said Ian putting his hands in his sweatshirt pockets, "it was I who asked to meet you, but I think it just seemed a little akward for her to talk much about it." he said wtih a smile, He's cool. thought Ian, At least kaceys with someone who isn't a jerk.
Kacey was happy to see they were getting along very well. "I am not mischievous!" Kacey said sticking her tongue out back at him and pouted jokingly. "You are."
