Forbidden. Yes...

The girl glanced around innocently and slipped past the signs of "Forbidden" and "Do Not Enter." This was the first place she'd been since getting to this school, and she wanted it to make a lasting impression. Danica lived to go places she wasn't meant to.

Upon weaving deeper inside and farther away from the school, she began to wonder why this place was forbidden. It seemed harmless to Danica, but if it was fobidden, something terrible had to be waiting inside. Danica raised an eyebrow slightly. Terrible? Hardly. She was as far in as she thought she could go without going out the other side, and nothing remarkable had happened, aside from getting mud on her black cargo pants.

Danica rolled her eyes in a bored way and leaned backwards against a thick tree, putting one leg behind her to support herself and crossing her arms. She brushed a strand of turquoise hair out of her face and grinned, remembering the time she had first dyed it, causing a rather large family argument. She'd won in the end, she always did. She could manipulate people fairly well, and she was proud of it.

It was getting a bit dark, so Danica formed a small ball of light and put it in the air next to her. She'd made it so only she could see it, in case a certain headmistress was to find her inside. It gave Danica quite an advantage, seeing she could run away before the Headmistress would even know she was there. Danica grinned one more time.

Miranda quietly slipped out the two entrance doors to the school late one night. I don't understand these rules. The girl thought with a scowl once she'd securely closed the doors behind her. Don't even understand why I'm here. This school's for magical blockheads, not people like me. Mir grumpily added to herself, drawing her hood loosely over her small head as she slowly began to make her way towards the forbidden forest. After all, the plain forest didn't have the one thing she longed for... which was lots of easy-to-get blood. The only kind it had was wild rabbits, rats, squirrels, and stuff like that. But tonight, Mir needed a lot more than little rodents provided.

Yes, it was that time again... for Miranda to take her bite. She'd gone a bit too long without one, so tonight she wasn't quite herself. Meaning: she was extremely annoyed, not to mention angry like you wouldn't believe.

Finally, Miranda was in the forest making her way as quick and stealthy as possible to the deeper area's. Besides, it wasn't as if she'd find her prey lingering near the middle... and she didn't. So far, all Mir had seen were some more wild rabbits and useless rodents such as that. Seeing those simply made her wander deeper into the woods. Until...

A girl. Yes, shockingly enough, a girl was right there... just a few feet away from Miranda. What is she doing here? The female questioned herself, staring blankly at the turquoise haired figure currently leaning against a single tree. The color of the girls hair did not surprise her as much as the girl actually being that deep in the forest did. She can't be a student at the school. Who would venture this deep?

Mir didn't want to do it. No, course not. She'd never do that to a student, by her will anyways. But, unfortunately, the little voice inside her head kept nagging... 'It's only a worthless girl. Go ahead! Take a wack at her.' it would say, nearly hypnotizing the black haired girl momentarily before she regained her senses.

Shaking the questions she so eagerly wanted to ask this unknown girl, Miranda pulled her hood a bit lower to where Danica could not see her face... and cleared her throat loudly to let it be known she was present. "Sorry to disturb you, but I've unfortunately gotten myself lost." She said, in her small, kind, british voice. "Would it be so terrible of me to ask of your guidance to the exit?"

Ah, the old guidance trick. So maybe the voice in Miranda's head had taken over. Hey, who knew?

Danica jumped slightly and turned to her left. Someone was there. But... it wasn't a teacher, or anyone she'd seen before. It might be a student, but Danica couldn't see the person's face. She assumed the person was a girl. The girl was wearing a hood. A hood? That was weird. How old was the girl? People didn't wear hoods. They just didn't, unless they were horribly old fashioned. Or hiding something. And how could the girl see her? It was pitch black and she obviously couldn't see the light Danica had made.

She waved her hand slightly and the small globe of light followed. She pushed off the tree and walked closer to the hooded girl. "You're lost..." Danica never trusted anyone until they proved they could be trusted. And this girl was definately lying. She didn't look lost. She looked like she knew exactly where she was going. Danica glared at the figure. "Are you a student at Starlight Academy? What are you doing in the forest?" Danica wanted questions answered before she helped this person do anything.

Danica tensed, readying her power, waiting for the girl to respond. She was prepared to make the forest entirely dark and run if this girl was as dangerous as she looked.

Miranda did not enjoy being glared at. And that was exactly what this girl was currently doing. "Are you a student at Starlight Academy? What are you doing in the forest?" The unknown female had questioned, yet Miranda simply rolled her eyes unnoticably under her cloak. "Does it make a difference?" She replied coldly, giving a small smirk as she sensed Danica tensing up.

It was an obvious fact that Miranda had not seen the strange haired girls small light. But she didn't need it anyways. Vampires eye site was superb, thus were their strength. Yes, Mir had twice her time strength. Which was exactly why she was able to grab Danica by the arms and slam her into a nearby tree.

Just as Miranda had forced the girl up against the tree, her cloaks hood had came off. Allowing her appearance to be known to this Danica person. Well, it wont matter that she sees me now. She wont remember anything by the time I'm done with her. The black haired girl thought quietly, now drawing out her long fangs in order to sink them into her prey's neck.

"It wont hurt that much." Mir whispered, still having that tight hold upon Danica. It'd take one clever person to break free from that grip.

Danica had been about to say, "Uh... yeah," in response to her "Does it make a difference?" when the figure pushed her into a tree. Danica's eyes widened as she looked around. What was this freak doing to her?

She stared as the hood fell off, revealing black hair and long fangs that were slowly appearing. A vampire! This girl was a vampire? Danica was scared, really scared. She never got scared, never. Could vampires sense fear? Did that make them stronger? Danica took a few deep breaths. A branch of the tree was sticking into her back...

What do I do? Danica thought back to as many books about vampires she'd read when she was in high school. They didn't like garlic. Okay, let me get my handy clove out of my pocket! Garlic was not going to work. You kill them by driving a stake through their heart. Blood made Danica sick, and she certainly didn't want to kill anyone.

After the quick though session, she decided to use her powers to their best ability. I wonder if I can burn her hands? Maybe... Danica tried to summon light energy in the form of heat. She felt her hands glowing and tried to reach up to burn the girl, but she couldn't. Danica found all the darkness she could and brought it together in her mind. With a nod of her head, it came down like a sheet. Everything was dark. She doubted anyone could see anything, even thought this vampire would have a hard time seeing.

Inching along the tree slowly, she waited until she was near the end. Then she motioned for the light globe that she'd left behind to follow her, and she took off through the trees.

He looked at them he had wandered deeper than usual and was glad he did, a vampire and a pyro it seemed he could no tell. He spoke under his breath "This could be fun." He leapt form tree to tree and then when he was infront of Danica he dropped from the trees and looked at her his golden eyes shining softly "You are in danger no?" He chuckled and looked back at the vampire. "Why do you not stop and fight it could be fun." With that said he shot out two fingers behind him killing a large green beast that had been following him for nearly and hour now. "Come not what say you madame, stand and fight or flee like a coward?"

Danica jumped and screamed when a guy fell out of the trees and killed something behind him. When she'd calmed down she thought clearer. Um, okay. Don't see that every day. Now there were two crazy people chasing her.

"Look, are you going to try to suck my blood too? Because if you are, I'd like to continue running." Danica wasn't scared enough to drop her whole sarcastic personality...

She inched backwards a bit, she still wasn't sure if the vampire was chasing her. Danica ran pretty fast. Oh, no, could vampires fly?!?! It would get her!

"Fighting isn't really my thing," she continued. "But maybe it's yours! There's a vampire over there -" Danica pointed " - And it's trying to get me, so you can fight her. Sounds like a blast, huh?" She started inching away, ever so slightly, until she was out of this guy's range so she could run. Best thing to do was keep talking, it distracted maniacs.

She would watch the Vampire girl for awhile. She swung down from the branch she was sitting on and ran after the Vampire that was chasing the girl, who was backing away from the boy."Wow,that was confusing."she thought.
