Xavier strolled down the beach, feeling a bit sick and having a splitting headache. Mostly because he was getting pretty badly dehydrated since he hadn't been in the water for some time. Also because he hated it. Hated having to get in the water. He'd quickly stopped by his dorm since it wasn't far away to grab a backpack, then headed to the beach. Finally he dumped the backpack and unzipped it. It was empty, other than neatly folded clothes are the bottom. Xavier proceeded to take off his shirt, shoes then shocks then put them in the backpack before he zipped it back up.
He only had his jeans still on, but he could do it fine with the jeans. He waded into the water, until he got around waist height. Xavier stood there for a while, and steadied his breathing. He still wasn't used to it, even though he saw it everyday now. He removed the human shape charm, the only thing that meant he could walk by this point. He forced himself to not hold his breath as he kinda dropped into the water, now with a tail rather than legs. It took a second to adjust, but could now swim fine. He already felt so much better now that he submerged himself just a little in the water. Even dipped his head below the water. Good thing he didn't have to worry about drowning anymore. He held the charm tight in his hand, and just kinda floated in the water.
