Chandler picks up his pace, running towards the cliff, he turns around to see that Linken hasn't started after him yet. He waves his hand, issueing her to come with him.

Come on, I'll show you, you can trust me!

Linken was looking at him with a quizzical look as she moved her head to a side. She sighed and followed said male to the cliff.
You are an odd child indeed.
She joked as she finally caught up with him.

He laughs as they near the cliff.

Well, it's just, I'm excited. I've never been able to actually show people my powers!

I have her sit down once we near the cliff, and there's a huge boulder, about the size of a bus. I walk to it and place my hands under it. I evenly space out my legs and bite my bottom lip. I flick my bangs out of my face, and then lift the rock. It was about a ton, and I turn to her with it high above my head. I look for her reaction, still biting my lip.

She said lightly, as she ignored his petition and remained standing, hip to a side and arms crossed to see what he could do.

She smiled at him.
Strength? Cool.
She said with a raised eyebrow.

Destructing but cool.
She stated with a smile and a light shrug.

He decides to show off a little bit, and lowers his right arm. Now he's holding it was just one arm, and then decides to set it down. He exhales as he lowers it and the cliff shakes when it hits.

It's not too much...

He laughs and walks back to her.

We can head back if you want!

Yea, for some reason I don't want this to break down with us still on it.
She replied while glaring at the boulder as if it were a bully who had just stolen her candy. She pouted.

Nah, never mind we can stay here, just please don't make the thing move. Being able to fly and being forced to fly are two different things.
She said lightly.

I laugh and look at her. I'm starting to actually feel comfortable at this school.

I reach into my pocket and pull out a small bottle of soda.

How long have you gone to this school?

About a week and a half or so.
She said with a light shrug.

I lost count.
She said with a small smile, never being one that held count of too many things. What was to come was to come and that's how she saw it.

How new are you?

Me? I just arrived this morning actually. You're one of my first friends!

He laughed and looked to the ground. Then he looked back up at her with a grin.

It's nice to have someone to talk to in such a new place!
