Sagari was lying on the beach with Arty and Shasta, she was clad in a deep blue tank top and blank sarong while Shasta sat next to her reading a book in jean shorts and an AC DC tee shirt. Arty was sleeping on a beach towel and she was completely content just sitting there but then Shasta reached over and turned on the radio and on popped "Rio" by Duran Duran. Her eyes popped open, from their previously closed state, and she sat up and starting spinning singing along with the lyrics
With a step to your left and a flick to the right
You catch that mirror way out west
You know you're something special and you look like you're the best.

Her name is Rio and she dances on the sand. she sang in tune with the song and swayed her hips, spinning and twisting.

Shasta let out a groan because now everyone was staring at them. She stood up and considered calling out to Sagari that she was going to go for a walk and find something to eat but decided against it because she looked like she was having so much fun. Instead she just picked up Arty and walked down the dock.

Sagari stopped momentarily as the song faded out and pushed some hair from her face. She smiled back at the boy and even giggled as he danced some himself.
Well, thank you very much! You are a good dancer, yourself! Would you like to dance with me? she asked as Puttin' on the Ritz by Shiny Toy Guns came on, the slightly slower beat made her move her hips slower as she danced next to the boy and bumped him with her hip.
My name is Sagari, what is yours?

Sagari smiled and jumped to the side as he bumped her with his hip.
She hadn't met anyone here that would just get up and dance with her yet, so this was most definitely a refreshing situation.
Sagari started swishing her head around as though she were head banging. She stopped and turned to James though and took his hand spinning him in a circle.
It is a pleasure to meet you James Castillo. she said and smiled at him letting go of his hand and spinning very quickly, and falling in the process, she let out a hearty laugh as she landed in the sand.
This must be why Rio danced on the sand, it does not hurt when you fall!

Sagari smiled back at him and took his hand pulling herself to her feet. She brushed the sand off of her back and then looked back at the boy.
I like you too, James. What do you say we be friends? she asked with her warmest smile.

Sagari giggled, she knew what he had said, but didn't say that. Instead she just moved around him touching his face with her hand.
I say that your face is a lovely shade of pink. It looks nice, you should paint it that color! she said and bumped him again with her behind and started spinning towards the water. When she felt the water on the skin of her feet she shivered at first but just threw her arms up and started spinning again laughing.

Sagari started swishing her legs around as she moved her hips kicking up water. She turned just to see James taking off his shoes and socks and coming to join her. She smiled and kicked up on of her legs, splashing him.
Of course! I am always having fun! she said and spun around once more for effect.
Having fun is good for your health! she said to him

Sagari giggled as he kicked water at her she was having the most wonderful time. She laughed as he did his pelvic thrust and splashed water on him again.
Cool down, Manly-Man! she called to him and took off running down the beach laughing, she looked over her shoulder as she ran to see if he followed her. Another laugh escaped her lips as she turned around running backwards and called to him.

Sagari looked over her shoulder to see James catching up to her very quickly.
She let out a small squeal and sped up a little running still looking behind her at James sticking her tongue out at him. She turned back around just in time to see a small boy run playfully into the water. She couldn't stop, because if she did she would just trip and run into him, so she did what she thought best. She sped up her running and right before she got to him she jumped and did a flip over the boy landing on her hands but they got stuck in the muck of sand and water and she came crashing down into the water.
She sat up, completely soaked and slightly stunned for a moment before she broke into an uncontrollable laughter.

Sagari took his hand and pulled herself up again.
Well, I just must look klutz-tastic. she said with a smile and then looked at his face and her smile spread even wider.
Hey! Your face is that color again! I like it! she said and touched his cheek again.
Jeez, you're hot. Maybe we should go get something to drink. OR better yet, a snowcone! she said and hopped off down towards the dock, she got halfway there before stopping, turning towards him and motioning for him to follow.

Sagari scanned the dock to see a small snowcone cart about 30 feet to the left. She pointed that direction with one hand on her hip.
Snow cone stand THAT direction, sir! she said and then turned to him smiling, she was attempting her best Spock impression, which wasn't very good.
Well, Captain, shall we go get us some snow cones?
She still hadn't moved from the finger-pointing-hand-on-hip position and was probably drawing some eyes from the peculiar sight.
