Mimosa ran down the hall, as fast as she could. She'd bolted to the hospital wing as soon as she'd heard the news. A tear streamed down her cheek as she turned the final corner. Please, God, don't let him be dead yet!

She opened the door, and ran to the final bed.

There he lay. Judas. The first boy she'd kissed at the academy. The one boy she really felt something for. All the memories poored back to her as she stood over his mangled body. The commonroom, where they'd first met...their enchanting conversations in the caf..the lake, where they'd first decided they liked each other.

Tears poored down her cheeks. She grabbed his hand, and held it to her cheek as she cried. "Judas..." she whispered.

The woman peered at Mimosa with a vexed look.
"Are you a girlfriend, perhaps? I really must take him, now."

Mimosa turned to the woman. She didn't care that someone had felt very deeply for Judas. She'd practically spat the word girlfriend at her, as if it were a curse that she be forever tied to a man who was not, in all likelyhood, going to make it.

Mimosa stood turning to the woman, a cold look in her ice blue eyes.
"Yes, you might say that I'm his girlfriend."

The woman shrugged.
"I see. I represent the Anderson estate, and we are removing Judas Anderson to the private family clinic. Goodbye."

"He cannot remain at this academy...The remains of Alexander are to be taken along as well. Visitors are not allowed, however he may return in time after recuperation."

Mimosa turned away, looking at Judas, as he breathed shallowly. "Goodbye, then, Darling..." she whispered, so low she knew that this fowl person would not hear her.

She pulled a silvber pocket watch out from her pocket. It was not wrapped, but she had intended to give it to him for Christmas.

She turned back to the person who was going to take her boyfriend away, tears stinging her eyes. She placed it in the lady's hand. "Here. Be sure he gets this as soon as he wakes up....and if he doesn't...bury it with him."

She ran then, no longer able to bare the pain, to her bedroom, where she was sure she'd remain for a long while.
