Astrial was now very afraid to go to classes. Were all classes end in a bad way? She was scared enough as it was to start classes, and this little senario didn't make it any less scary. It made it much, much worse. "If you don't mind Orion can I just go to my dorm to calm down more from all this. What I really want is to go back home. I want to pack up my stuff and get ready to go back."

Orion cocked his head a look of sadness on his face, "if you truly wish to go home I wont stop you." He looked into her eyes, "don't go because your scared...if your scared, then stay."

He smiled, "you've found a true friend, you will find more and you will show that cruel person what a real friend is like." He hugged her a bit tighter to remind her he was here, "and hey...you have your own personal knight now." He gave a smile, "I'll be here every step of the way."

"It would be safer there from mean people, but you could come with me and then I would have a friend at home to talk to. My parents are real nice and stuff, " Astrial said excitedly about the idea. "My parents would be thrilled I made a new friend." She thought to herself for a moment and then realized she had another question for him, "What is a knight? Is that another word for a friend?"

He smiled and laughed a little at her offer, "sorry I cant, I have to stay her. I'm a law student, and I'm looking for a way to go home." In truth, he wasn't in any hurry, he'd sort of subconsciously accepted that he was here to stay.

"A knight?" he'd been taught what a knight was sense he was a kid, so it was a bit odd hearing someone ask what one was. He smiled kindly, "a knight is someone who always protects and helps the people around them." He had heard that knights of this world didn't always follow that belief, but he always had. He chuckled, "that means your stuck with me...I'll be there for you no matter what, but, you have to stay. I can't follow you home until I finish school." He smiled again, "so how about it, you stay, and I'll be your knight?"

She thought for a few seconds mulling stuff over. If she were to go home she would loose her first real friend here. But what if someone was to be mean to her again, what would she do. Would he really stick by and be her friend like he's promising? Besides, she just got here. If she were to go home maybe her parents would be mad that she left the school when they told her it was important that she do thins. And her parents wanted her to make friends and she had just made one.

Sighing she looked up at him and said "I'll stay then. But I am shook up for my scare. I don't like caves and enclosed spaces so that basement was a nightmare. And then the big machine burped fire which I am also terrified of. Fire and water don't mix well." She paused her words then said "is there someplace I can clean my hand up," she said showing Orion her scraped hand, " and then I need to relax in my room for a while to calm down some more. I'll attempt classes again tomorrow if you will help me find my way around, that is if you don't mind helping me."

Orion smiled and nodded as she agreed to stay, he hated the idea of her leaving in fear. He considered healing her hands with Rathier but decided against it, her hands would be fine and might get scared of him drawing his sword, "yea I'll take you to the bathroom, you'll be able to wash up there."

Keeping his arm around her he started leading her toward the bathroom,"I understand, a day off would be good." He smiled bu t then blushed for brief second anyone who saw them would likely think they were a couple. "I'm actually off for the rest of today I'd you'd like me to hang out with you," it sounded a bit like he was trying to pick her up, but he was trying to be a good friend.

Dam, he was nice too watch and his eyes showed he truly was concerned for her. "Sure, why don't I show you my room? " she says trying to think of a quiet place to relax. Of course she does not know this is inappropriate at all or not allowed. She just thinking quiet place to relax and talk. "I'd love to show you my bathroom. It's awesome. Oh and I'd like you to meet my friend Calisto. I that you two would get along. He's very gental with others."

Orion smiled and nodded, his arm still around her. "I'd love to meet your Calisto." He didn't know why, but he already enjoyed being around this girl.

"And don't worry, I think before long you'll have plenty of friends." He smiled, "and hey I'll always be here." He smiled, he meant every word, and as a knight he was bound to this promise. He'd be there, every step of the way.
