Hella, upon completion of her assigned task for the Queene of Ebonyridge, was gifted with a rapier sung from the flashwood of the forest owned by the Court. The rapier, being made of magical living wood, is as strong as steel and flexible as a branch.
The rapier boosts her agility to the pnnacle of what a human is capable of and allows her to make a standing ten foot vertical jump. Likewise, the rapier protects her from falling from heights by making her float to the ground like a feather. These effects only occur while Hella is wielding or carrying the rapier in some way.
If the rapier is broken in any way, it can be repaired by planting it in soil and watering it. The amount of time this takes depends on the amount of damage done to it. Minor damage only takes a week, while severe damage can take up to three weeks. If it is totally destroyed or stolen (in which case it rapidly decays into wood pulp), Hella will become moderately ill for a week until she vomits up a seed that can be grown into a new sword in a fortnight.
