Lauren walked outside to the lawn. She was just going out for a little walk. One of the younger kids fell and started crying because the little girl twisted her ankle. Lauren hurried over and put her hand on the girl’s ankle. She closed her eyes and began to heal it. When she opened them the little girl’s ankle was perfectly fine. The girl thanked her and Lauren started to walk away. Lauren liked helping people and that was the best thing about her healing power, being able to help.

Caitlin saw Lauren heal the girl. She walked over, smiling. "Thats an awesome power you have there." she said.

A smile made it's way onto Lauren's face. "Thanks. I like helping people." she said, " It's pretty cool. What power do you have anyway? Oh by the way I'm Lauren."

Tara was siting in a tree nearby."Laurie and Caiti wanna helpie the wittle ones."Tara jumped down from the tree.No one could resist her taunts.No one.

"Yeah I do, so?" Lauren said in her you-have-to-try-a-little-harder tone. Lauren loved her power, everytime something hurt she could fix it. She wasn't ashamed of it.

"Hmm.You aren't ashamed of it?Why,you ought' to get in touch with my sister.The last healer felt excactly like you are know.Then they nearly killed her.So I guess healing isn't such a good thing after all is it?"Tara looked at Caitlin.

"If I die healing, I die healing. Point of your story would be?" Lauren said, She never really thought of something like that. If she died helping someone, she would be happy dying that way.

"Now,now Catie.All you can do is you have a big lung capacity and you can walkthrough things.Big deal.And you misunderstood me.The healer didn't almost die.The healers victim did.If you don't believe me ask my sister Marine."She put a finger over her mouth and said mockingly"Oops.I said to much."she thought a moment"And by the time I'm through with her.You won't be able to even see her."she smiled wickedly

"Will you stop calling me Catie!" Caitlin yelled, angrily. She wanted to smack this girl. And if Tara said another mean word, she would.
