Heading In

Legion walked in, and heard wonderful singing. "Wow," he said to himself. "She's really good." It was raining outside, so Legion took off his trench coat, and shook the water off of it. He noticed a girl, and caught her eye. Legion smiled lightly at her, and found a chair to sit in. The lounge was empty, except for the girl. "Hi," Legion said quietly to the girl. "I'm Legion...it's nice to meet you." Legion saw the guitar, and piano. "Do you play? The guitar and piano I mean."

"Dani," Legion said, grinning back. "Cute name." He blushed, then sat next to her on the piano bench. "I'm sure you play nicely, Dani California." He paused, then looked at her. "So, do you go to the academy? I'm a new student there. Just registered yesterday." He smiled, and then blushed, looking at the floor. Wow, Legion thought you himself. She's really cute. But I gotta think of Tana. It would be unfair to her.

"No, not really, Dani." He looked kind of ashamed, but didn't think more of it. "I'm not musically inclined. Except, I do sing. I kinda learned to do it on my own. But I am really bad at it.." Legion had learned to sing on his own, just by listening to some CDs he had found at a local music store on one of his many excursions out of the academy. "Would you like to judge for yourself?"

Legion cleared his throat, and started singing.

He took a breath, and continued.

Legion looked at Dani, and smiled.

Legion smiled, and stood next to Dani. "Thanks, Dani. I'm glad you liked it." He blushed. "Sure, I would love some coffee. Maybe it can warm me up from being outside. Apart from raining, it's also kinda cold out. You cold, Dani?" Legion looked at her, and took her hand. "Sorry...I shouldn't be...touching you when you don't want it." He withdrew his hand, and walked up to the counter to order his coffee.
