He had noticed her shake her head, and he took that as a no. "I myself don't like winter that much, though its better out here then in the city." He said still looking out of the window. Great, now if I want to ask something I have to ask question that have to have an answer as yes or no, he thought.

Klay nodded, agreeing with him. She flipped the picture she had paint over, starting to draw a map on the back. A map home. If she got too involved in this place, she might not leave. She had to. She might forget where home was. It had almost happened before.
She wouldn't let it happen again.
Her eyes darted from her map to the boy. Was he mad she wouldn't speak?

He leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes, in deep thought. He felt at peace here, since he couldn't see he girls past, or at least not now, he was blocking his powers. When he felt her gaze on him, he opened his eyes and glanced at her, and curiosity got to him. "What are you painting?" He asked calmly.

Klay flipped over to the side with the painting. Holding it up to face him, she pointed to the word written in curly handwriting. Almost like a different language.
Home.
She took it down and put it on her lap. Memories were returning. Memories she hopped would have never come.

When he saw the words, he took a deep breath that shuddered, and suddenly memories flooded into his head, of his true home, but he was only four then and hardly remembered it, but since he is able to see his past over again, he almost remembered what life had been there.
