Harper's Chocolates

Harper's Chocolates is a chocolate and candy store that opened up on the island about two years ago when its owner, Genevieve Harper, moved to Manta Carlos Islands. It became an instant hit. She makes everything she sells, and if you love chocolate, you can find pretty much anything you want in her store (and if you can't find it, just place an order with Genevieve, and you'll get it ASAP). Though she mainly sells chocolate, she does sell some assorted, different kinds of candy, though you'll likely have to place an order for non-chocolate delights as well.

Her store is located downtown, and has brick storefront with large glass windows on either side of a centered door. In the windows are displays of chocolate, and inside the door there are rows and rows of all kinds of different things. Chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate covered raisins, chocolate covered peanuts, chocolate covered anything, to chocolates filled with gooey centers, to truffles. All of her products come in dark, milk, and white chocolate.

On top of owning her store and making all the products, Genevieve also teaches a chocolatier class at Starlight Academy. For this reason, she's happy to hire students, whether they want to work at the register or if they want to learn, hands on, how to make chocolate and sell it. She's a bit more discerning when it comes to allowing people other than herself to make the chocolate, but she's willing to let those who are dedicated and sincerely interested give it a go.

The store is open Monday - Saturday 9 AM - 5 PM, and Sunday from 1 PM to 7 PM.
