Happy Birthday!

Tellios took his time in the dorm, giving up school for the day to create the perfect cake for his girlfriend Pollyanna. Humming to himself while waiting for her to get home. He rubbed his eyes for a moment since he was in his human form. Creating a fruit cake for her for when she got home. Using only the finest fruits and making a vanilla cake as the base. Also made with various fruits inside, jelly and all for it. Taking his time to make sure that this is perfect for her. Taking a few moments to take a break. Putting it in the fridge to keep it cool and the fruits perfect for when Polly got home from her classes.

"Well.. I hope that she will like this." He spoke lightly. Wrapping the gifts he made and had bought for her. It was 3 gifts for the love of his robot life. Someone he wanted to share everything with. He wanted to show her how he cared for her and wanted to keep her interests and hobbies going. He couldn't wait. So instead of going to his room.

He hid on the ceiling of the dorm room. Taking some time to ensure the lights were off. Making sure that it would be a surprise when she got home. For the her birthday, but he wasn't sure if this was the right thing to do. She could use a good surprise he thought to himself. though at the same time. What would happen? Would she hit him?

Today was a special day. It was her birthday, and she finally had the chance to celebrate how she wanted. In her youth, there were no parties, no friends coming over, no celebrating. Well, only if you count just having herself and her father doing something small in the confines of her room. Things had changed a lot since then. Mostly for the better, but some for the worse.

But at least she had made friends as well as a boyfriend. She could be herself, be it human or mutant. For now, she hadn’t shifted yet. It was easier for her to maneuver through the halls as she practically bounced her way back to her dorm following her last class. She was early to everything, the cafeteria had her favorite salad in, and she got an A on her algebra quiz. She was doing great!

She wasn't sure as to whether or not her boyfriend/roommate was back at the dorm, seeing as her phone had died halfway through the day. She intended to relax anyway, since she had no other plans.

Once she returned to her dorm, her hand rummaged through her pocket to get her keys to open the door. She raised it to the knob, only to twist it until it clicked. She pushed open, to see that it was unusually dark.
"Hello..? Telli? Are you here?"

The darkness helped conceal Tellios from his girlfriends gaze. From his hiding spot over the door. Clinging to the wall with his sharp claws from hands to feet inside of his robot form. His heart rate, smell and sounds almost non-existent. His face plate was dark. It slowly light up. As he crawled from wall and ceiling to the ground. His once clawed hands and feed turned to blunt, to help change the sounds as he crept on his target. His own girlfriend.

But this wasn't a hunt to kill. Murder or anything else.

This.. Was special. It was her birthday. A special day to Tellios. Who technically had no birthday. Only a creation, but something of birth, something special needed something. A surprise. Something she would remember for days. Slowly his face plate started to glow a deep green. Something ominous. If his human face was around. It would be a smirk. As he gave power to the room. The lights turning on and the candles on a cake saying "Happy Birthday, my love and life."

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas he popped a party cracker cracker saying...

"Surprise! Happy Birthday Pollyanna~!"

She really couldn't see anything. After all, the phrase 'blind as a bat' had to have some weight to it. It was her other senses that picked up that something was going on, as her ears metaphorically pricked at the sound of mechanisms. "Tellios...?"
Just then, the lights turned on. Standing in front of her quite suddenly was her robot, with a cake in his hands. Instantly, she picked up what was going on. He had surprised her!

"Telli!" She giggled in a bit of a awed squeal, excited and flattered all at once. "This is so sweet, oh my goodness! Thank you!" Careful of the cake, she flung herself to tellios, kissing his face plate. The coolness of the LCD screen numbed her lips a bit, but she didn't mind. She wrapped her arms around his metal torso, burying her face in the mechanisms of his shoulder. "This is wonderful. You really surprised me!" She let go of him, to back up and look at the cake. "You didn't tell me you could bake!" She remarked, her body still vibrating from adrenaline. She was so excited, nobody had done with for her before. This day kept getting better!

As the lights turned on and Pollyanna turned around to look at Tellios. He wrapped his arms around her as she hugged him. Holding her tight. As he felt for warm lips of his girlfriends touch his face his body went from robot to human slowly. As he kissed her back. Holding her in his arms. He smiled as he rubbed her back.

"Of course I set this up. It is your birthday after all." He stated before going on. "I do believe some Birthdays due to human standards is that a surprise party is perfect for a situation between lovers. I did my best not to blow my cover while I set this and purposely slept in while I really was just in a rest mode." He stated.

He blinked a few times at the statement he could cook. "Thanks to what I have access too I can do a number of house hold chores and things such as; Baking, Cooking, cleaning, Dusting, Washing, Dish Washing, Drying, Waxing, Plumbing, Fixing, Carpentry and various other tasks that are asked or needed of me should you ask."

He then started to pull out dinner from the fridge. A lovely assortment of fruits in the shape of a heart, each dipped in chocolate one one half of the heart and the other dipped in vanilla. He smiled as he placed it on their little table as he pulled out his tablet. Turning it on when it asks for a password. With a smile he opened his mouth to say the words. "Remember how much I love you. You have saved my life. I wish to do something for yo-.. For us. Recall our first day by day and month and the password and the token of my thanks and love is inside.."

he said. The words ringing in his head as he noticed a new feature in his eyes.

An anxiety meter. It had reached 50% just trying to find out how she would react.

What she saw would be a house. Something for them. Signed under Tellios' name. Everything is set except for one thing.

Polly's signature and the "Pay now" sign is in a bright green. All she would need to do. Is hit the button and that would be theirs. It would be their place that they own.

She had no clue what she was in store for next. Her Tellios was so talented and smart, not to mention deeply compassionate . These traits were why she loved him, and why she chose him to be her partner. He understood her in a way nobody else did. He saw beauty in her other form. In most cases, she would be seen as a monster or a freak. To him? She was just his Polly.

"Wow, you’re so talented!" Polly exclaimed, enamored by his abilities. "But… I know you already are. You organized all this for me after all." She said, admiring every bit of effort he had pulled through. She watched as he pulled out dinner, consisting of her favorite fruit. She clapped excitedly to herself, her auburn curls bouncing as excitement filled her body. This day kept getting better…
Until the ultimate present was gifted to her.

Before he revealed it, she rested her head on is shoulder to kiss his neck. Her head tilted slightly as her hands glided up and down his arms. She wondered what he was hiding up his sleeve, but it soon came clear to her. "Tellios? Is that..."

A house. Their house.

"Oh Tellios! This is-!" She squeezed tight. Tears bubbled at the corners of her eyes, as she nearly squealed into his shoulder.She was excited, beyond happy. She finally would have a place where she could roam free, with the man she loved by her side.She reached over him to sign her name with her finger on the touch screen, almost trembling with awe. Once that was finished, she kissed him up and down his neck, clinging onto him in utter adoration.

"Thank you… So very, very much. I’m so excited I-”" The words were escaping her. All she could do was vibrate. "Oh Tellios, I love you so much!"

"Of course I organized all this for you." He said with a smile on his human face. He sat down in one of the chairs as he lit the candles of the cake. Trying to take his time to figure out what else to do with it all. Just how else to surprise her. He could tell she was excited for it all. For his ultimate gift to her. The house was in their names. Both of them, but needed each others signatures.

"It is my love. Our own little place to call our own, to do as we please." He said with a smile. The tablet showing a cute little house for them. Two stories with a basement and a garage. It was perfect. Tellios knew it would be perfect for them. Space and all. More than they could get inside of the dorm rooms.

Pollyanna held him close and so did he. He hit the buy button, he didn't even bother taking a look into his bank to see if it went through. He held the tablet between them as the words "Sold" Showed up. The house was their's and would be ready with in the month. He took the tablet and put it on the table as he slowly kissed her forehead, slowly using a hand to dry her tears.

He felt her kisses and smiled. putting a hand under her chin as he kissed her lips deeply and passionately. He held her tight in his arms as his own arms almost melded together so they were locked together, but loose enough if she wanted out she could leave.

"No Pollyanna.. Thank you. You mean the world to me." He spoke lightly. "I love you more than anything, Pollyanna." He held her tight for a bit longer before speaking up again.

"Blow out your candles and make a wish birthday girl." He said with a smile. Tellios was trying his best to make this birthday for her the best ever. To make her happy. To do what ever it took to make her happy. No matter the cost. He would do everything in his power.

All he wanted. He had. He had love at his side. Even never knew that he could fall in love. Or that someone cared for him. That they shared something in common.
