There had been an opening at the school, and Sofia had jumped all over it. Her qualifications as a social worker in her previous life meant that she was a perfect fit for the school's new guidance counselor. It meant that she got to see Caius a little more often, too, and that she would start earning her keep around the house, paying for some of the groceries, providing for some of the bills...and it gave her something more to do than flit around the house all day cleaning things that were already clean. A real, nine-to-five, five-days-a-week job, working with kids at the school.

It was her first day on the job. Sofia got all nice and settled into her new office...she'd brought Caius along on a trip to pick out some neat little decorations and cute office supplies to make her office warm and welcoming. She sat in the comfortable rolling chair on her desk and checked her email. Nothing new so far. She wasn't quite sure what else to do when there were no students sitting on the couch across from her desk. She looked at the empty piece of furniture and wondered who her first student would be. It wasn't like she had appointments yet or anything. Sofia played with the stapler on her desk and sighed a little. Things would pick up, she told herself. She was sure that this job would get busier the longer she was here.

As Arigon held his magic studies books along with his sketch book he continued walking through the halls as he was searching for someone specific, a possible helpful entity, a being of advice. Normally he kept he feelings about his real parents balled up inside however he contemplated several times while at this school and came to the conclusion that it simply wasn't health for him to be doing as such, his emotions ran wild at home as he would be furious with Henry whom took him under his wing as he secretly thought the human knew of his lineage.

Arigon went to his locker first and added his books inside aside from his backpack and sketch book, as he closed his locker and locked it in which then he went to the main office to get directions. They were rather helpful indeed in explaining how to get to her office, he'd then head upwards to the floor in which then he took out the note that they gave him reading it once more," I hope this is it..." he'd say calmly while opening the door slowly, an eerie click formed as he moved the door seeing a woman at her desk in a more bored like state if you asked him.

He'd then tilt his head down walking towards her shyly," U..um.. are you... our gudiance counsellor?" He'd asked hoping he was in the correct place.

Sofia had been leaning across her desk to straighten out the name plate that bore the words Sofia North on it when a teenager opened the door to her office. The young woman straightened herself in her chair and smiled, a kind and warm expression that went all the way up to her eyes. "That's me," she nodded, gesturing in a friendly manner to the couch that sat against the wall across from her desk.

Finally, she could get to the core of her work; helping the tortured kids who went to this school. Well, maybe tortured was a little extreme. Troubled was a better word. Like Riley, the girl she'd met a few weeks ago. She was certainly a troubled child, to be sure. She wondered briefly if she'd end up seeing the girl in her office one of these days. It was possible. "How may I help you today?" she asked the student, bringing herself back to the task at hand.

Arigon's eyes widened to see how quickly her expression transitioned from boredom to kindess by his presence, he'd then see that she gestured him over at the couch which must've been where all the kids sat while she gave them her ancient advice he has been seeking so eagerly. As he then would walk over to the couch he sat down gently laying his sketchbook in his lap he would then place both of his hands upon the book looking down still in a depressive like state.

Arigon would then finally answer her question," I seek your guidance miss, I..I am an alien.. not from this world.. my foster parents only told me that they found me in a spaceship in there land, after that they decided to take care of me.. I draw them... dream of wondering how my real parents look and who they are as a person.. yet I'm haunted by it as well.. I can't get over it... Why was I sent this planet? Why didn't I stay home....where is home?..." he'd say clenching his fist.

He certainly looked troubled from the way he sat. Sofia folded her hands in her lap and leaned back in her chair a little, listening with a quiet patience as the boy started to tell her what was wrong. Oh gosh. Okay. She took it all in and gave herself a few moments to wrap her brain around the questions that he'd spewed at her so suddenly.

Okay. She could do this. It was quite a daunting task for her first day, but she could do this. She reached back into the training she'd received during college on child psychology and did her best, taking a deep breath. "How long have you been having these dreams about your real parents?" she asked, figuring that was a solid place to start. It was a little hard to take everything in, but she had to apply the reality that yes, aliens could certainly exist in this world...she had to accept pretty much any possibility if she was going to have any kind of success with this situation.

Arigon did remember when it first started, it actually unlocked another memory of himself crying as a child in a standard technical ship filled with odd buttons and languages setting a course for earth, a tear drenched from his right eye as he remembered it, flames also imaged in his head however it was faint. He shook his head trying to reply back," It started as an infant.. I remember things.. like.. screams.. cries... fire.. that started coming rapidly in which ending with me dying by some eternal flame.. I never tried to figure a significant meaning for it though..." he'd say in reply.

He'd then wipe his face while closing his eyes trying to give her a mental movie of what he sees, as he begun to focus breathing could be heard of him inhaling and exhaling. As he then spoken of what he imaged in his head he spoke softly," Flames in the darkness... multiple hands come out and grab the flames.. black figues running through the eternal flames in utter fear..but from what?.. no..no.. they killed them.. one by one..the black figures fall!" he'd shouted.

Arigon would then appear exhausted, his green jewel upon his forehead flickered a minor lime green glow however it subsided as he would have sweat flowing down his face.

Sofia listened carefully with a concerned expression as the boy seemed to remember things from his past, in bits and pieces. She tapped into her senses...the smell of his fear and exhaustion caused the wolf to stir a little. She allowed the wolf to help her...sometimes she would think of new things when the wolf was more present and not pushed into the background of her mind like she usually was.

Carefully, Sofia rose from her chair and went to sit next to the boy on the couch. "It sounds to me like you're discovering some...repressed memories from your childhood. They're nothing to be afraid of, though it may seem scary at first...they are just pictures from your past." She kept her voice gentle and calm, there was no need to get the boy worked up any further.

"It may help for you to journal these events as you remember them," she suggested. "Sometimes, writing things down can help your mind process it all." Sofia had started keeping a journal when she'd come to the island a few months ago. It helped her gather her thoughts, especially when she was first learning to control the wolf.
