"No," Fe said with a shake of her head. "I believe you. It's just that... it's just so awesome that somebody as famous as yourself would have come out to see me perform," Fe admitted as she glanced at Shiloh, a warm sense of pride filling her at this. Fe knew she was good, and this only confirmed what she felt.

"So, what did you think? Was I worth coming out to the Foxhole for?" Fe asked, curious to know what the Queen of anti-pop thought of her singing.

"Yes." Shiloh quickly replied to Fe's question. "From all the things I heard, you didn't disappoint me." From what Shiloh just heard and listened to, Fe was definitely up there compared to a lot of other random bar gig to bar gig singers. She definitely had the potential for stardom at least.

"I'm just confused on why you are out here performing bar to bar and performing on a bigger stage. Please tell me you at least get gigs at somee of the popular nightclubs." It was an honest question. Shiloh wasn't aware on what Fe has actually been doing to gain a reputation or her actual goals as a singer. As far as Shiloh knew, this might just be some past time hobby Fe picked up after having fun during a karaoke night in front of a crowd. "Like, are you just having fun here or are you actually trying at this music thing?"

Fe leaned back against her vanity table as she answered Shiloh's questions. "Oh, I have had a few gigs at popular nightclubs, plus I still sing every so often at the House of Volkov. My manager has also managed to get some of my songs air time," Fe explained trying to think of everything she was doing to get herself out there.

"I guess, I am just looking for that opportunity, that one singular moment to break down the wall and make myself famous," she confessed.

"Ah you already have a manger. Interesting." That might . . . be an issue. A manager is a good thing but it could definitely complicate things since Shiloh would basically be taking that role over. They was sure that they could probably sort that out later if things go well tonight.

"That one singular opportunity?"
This was great, this was definitely going the way Shiloh had hoped for.
Shiloh took a seat on the couch right beside Fe, and got as close to her as she could. They placed an arm around Fe's shoulders and then held up their index finger and pressed it against Fe's lips. This was their way of trying to say "shut up and listen." without actually saying that, plus they just liked being dramatic. "Don't say anything yet. Just nod your head yes or shake no." Shiloh smile grew just a bit bigger while doing all of this.

"Now what if, I told you that I juuuust so happen to be in the process of opening up my very own record label." Shiloh spoke very softly. This was definitely big news that they didn't want anybody to know about just yet. "And what if I gave you that one shot, that one opportunity to seize everything you ever wanted? Would you take it?" And as dramatic as Shiloh was, of course they took the chance to qoute an Eminem line, as cheesy as it was.

"If the answer is yes..." Shiloh was assuming the answer would be yes. "Please tell me why me, Shiloh Dubé, should invest time, energy, and money into the name Fe Glaux instead of some other street performer, karaoke singer, or bar muscian around here. I mean you could just be saying yes and fuck off or give up a few weeks later."

"And I also want to know how bad you want it. What are you willing to do in your grand pursuit of fame and glory? There is a difference between a hobby and a passion. I want to know which one singing is for you." Shiloh removed their fingers from Fe's lips once she was finished speaking. There was definitely some intenstity about all this coming from Shiloh. They were making it very clear that they weren't in the business of dealing with someone who wasn't serious about all of this.

Fe's eyes grew wide with surprise as she listened to Shiloh talk about starting up her own record label. Turning her head slightly to look at her idol, Fe's eyes sparkled with excitement. This was the moment she had been waiting for for so long, what she had been working so hard towards, and now that it was so close to becoming reality she knew she'd do almost anything for it to come true.

When Shiloh removed her finger, Fe felt all her excitement come bubbling to the surface.

"Oh my god, that is so freaking awesome!" Fe gushed as she turned fully so she could look at Shiloh.

"And I'd do anything... This is not a hobby for me, Shiloh," Fe promised. "I have been singing for years now, taking music lessons, lying about my age to get gigs. At one point I was doing two clubs a night on the weekends, singing at open mike nights..." Fe explained, the passion clear on her face.

"Lord, I- I'd die if I couldn't sing," she admitted almost sheepishly. "Song is what I am, and it often feels like the reason I exist," she told Shiloh. "Maybe it's the sirin in me, but if I ever stopped singing, well, I don't know what I'd do," she confessed.

Shiloh was enjoying what she was hearing from Fe. It was clear from what she was saying that she was putting in actual effort in what she wanted to do. Seeing Fe filled with so much excitement was making Shiloh just smile with pleasure. They were defintely feeling good about themselves due to being able to make Fe geek out and fangirl all over them with the stuff they were saying. They were also feeling smug that they basically obtained their firs- well maybe second artist for the soon to be record company. Thet still needed to talk with Maddie and see if she was onboard with the whole record company idea too.

Shiloh removed their arm from around Fe and sat up some as Fe mentioned something about being a sirin. "Sirin?" Shiloh questioned curiously as they wasn't aware of what that was. They never heard of a Sirin before and kinda assumed she meant siren. "Do you mean a Siren or is Sirin a different kind of thing?"

"Not quite," Fe said when Shiloh asked if she was a siren. "Sirins and sirens are similar, in that we can both sing, and lure men and women. But a sirin's songs can also be prophetic, instill calmness, and a ton of other things," she confessed with a smile.

"We also ... look very different," she said as she got to her feet. "Let me show you," Fe explained as she backed away enough from Shiloh a little bit so she could transform herself into the lovely humanesque birdlike creature she actually was.

"See, a sirin," Fe laughed as she extended her wings, her feathers slightly iridescent as she preened before Shiloh.

"Huh..." Shiloh wasn't expecting this. They guessed the whole being a sirin thing was left out of all the rumors. They figured next time if they did the whole surprise pop up thing they could do a little more research; well hire someone else to do it. This new found information only affected Shiloh's opinion about Fe only slightly. They weren't exactly a big fan on people who just had the supernatural ability to just sing. It's just a pride thing, a really big pride thing. They weren't going to turn tail now though, kinda already to late for that.

"I'm going to be blunt, blunt and honest. It's definitely a hot take but uh, if you have to use some kind of magic to sound good then I honestly think that's kind of shit." They said with zero care to the world. "But if you don't then that's all fine. Though I suppose if you are, you can just not do that right? If you honestly can't hit a single note without using magic then that's a big problem for me."

Fe just stared at Shiloh, extremely insulted, and because she had her pride, she almost was willing to ask her to leave - Shiloh or no Shiloh.

"Listen here," Fe said as she turned back into a human. "I don't use magic, and I am insulted that you'd think I'd stoop so low. A sirin's song is dangerous, and I am not some two-bit sireny mermaid that needs to use magic to get men to notice them," she declared heatedly.

"Besides, if I used my song on you, you know it, and you and 90% of the club would be begging me to take you home for the night," she added pointedly.

Shiloh was expecting some kind of reaction. The moment Fe just blowed up at them just caused them to slightly flinch but it was quickly replaced by smugness. Sure they could tell back or say some snarky comment but there really wasn't a reason to do that. If what Fe was saying was legit it was clear she had the same view point as they did. Well...it seemed like that.

Shiloh just sat there silently and stared Fe down until she finished. They then let the awkward silence sit in for a few moments before speaking. "It seems like we are riding on the same wavelength then regarding that."

They stood up from the couch and approached Fe then sighed. "I-I didn't mean to insult you....." Shiloh was weirdly enough just calm and relaxed. "I have a my pride and a fuck ton of other issues regarding that stuff so I just wanted to be sure." A lot of issues regarding that actually.

"I am deeply sorry if came off as rude." They way Shiloh was acting and the tone of their voice was definitely different. They were acting very, well not as smug and haughty as before. "Look if what I said soured your mood I can bounce. I'm not good with the whole drama shit. It ruins my vibe having shit popping off on twitter or people running up to me asking dumbfuck questions and I just want to chill, smoke a blunt, and make some music."
