Mikhainon grinned and raised an eyebrow as he watched Chloe back away. He knew she wouldn't be into it, but she'd been to hell and this was her line? Mortals had funny standards. He shrugged and went out of the room, closing it behind them. He tapped his chin as he thought of the answer to her question.

"That is... I suppose the closest translation would be 'H'acylon, Destroyer of Worlds. It used to go from planet to planet, hypnotizing the population to become monsters. When they wipe themselves out in a flurry of sadistic orgasmic pleasure, it goes to other worlds. It went to Earth recently and I had my mooks trap it here with intricate magic wards. Luckily, it's not sentient, so it's fully satisfied with being continually fed like this."

A waitress went over to Chloe with a glass of water.

"Softer tentacle monsters? Of course." Mikhainon went two doors down. Seeing the green "available" light, he opened the door. There was a plum-colored tentacle monster swimming at the middle of the pool, its multiple eyes closed and relaxed in the warm water. Mikhainon gestured for Chloe to come over.

"Hey, Jun," Mikhainon said, making an indication of their presence. Jun jumped up from where it was swimming, its many eyes wide and alert. "This is my daughter, Chloe."

Jun, having no mouth, had no way of communicating other than telepathically. "Hello, Chloe. I am Jxunlian'garath. But you may call me Jun."

The water settled Chloe's stomach a little. She didn't want to ruin her dress, or to give those poor people whose job it was to clean up after 'H'acylon another bodily fluid to mop up. That room was the stuff nightmares had nightmares about.

"At least it's happy, I guess," she said of the creature.

Jun's room was a lot more pleasing, and Jun was a much nicer sort of creature. She wouldn't even try to say its full name, though. Her mouth couldn't make those sounds.

"It's nice to meet you, Jun," she said. She knelt down by the edge of the pool, reaching down to one of the tentacles, but stopping short of touching. She looked up at Jun's eyes, her glance seeming to ask permission. She wanted to feel one of them, and she wanted to feel one feeling her.

"Where are you from?" Chloe would ask. "Do you enjoy the things you do here?" Gross and Freudian as it was to come here with her dad, she also really wanted a tentacle monster to do things to her. Maybe some other night, when she had recovered from seeing the thing with the broken glass and when her dad was busy with Gomorrah.

Jun looked at the hand reaching for it and wrapped a tentacle around it, shaking. Jun had been on Earth for a few weeks. It was careful to take note of the social ritual practices they observed, and it found that humans reacted quite positively to such considerations. Its many eyes looked pleased.

"It is good to meet you as well, Chloe. My species is from the Third Nebulae, but I was raised in a Space Station. I have been a nomad ever since," it told her telepathically. "Yes, I enjoy it quite well. Growing up a nomad, I have found that alien creatures have many interesting body parts, and they can provide a pleasure members of my species cannot." It reached out to wrap a tentacle around her waist, casually, so it wouldn't pressure her. "I am very enthusiastic about humanoids, in particular."

Mikhainon grinned from the doorway, tapping his chin. "Should I leave you two alone, or do you want to go back to the lobby?"

There were a lot of things about tonight that were ruining the mood for Chloe. Her dad being around, the thing with the broken glass, her dad... It was mostly her dad, really.

Chloe ran a hand along the tentacle around her waist, almost caressing it. "You're an intriguing creature Jun. I'd love to get to know you a little better. But... It will have to wait for another night." She stood up. "Soon, though. I'm looking forward to it." She would wave to Jun as she left, smiling.

Maybe on the Friday after she turned in that essay, when her dad was busy at Gomorrah and unavailable to comment on her sexual activity. That would be a perfect time to do depraved things with that alien.

For now, though, she would be joining her father in returning to the lobby. As soon as the door was shut, Chloe would start with excuses. "It's really hard to get in and out of this dress," she would say. "It's not something I want to do while I can barely walk."

Mikhainon nodded, though he had a sneaking suspicion that it was because of weirdness that Chloe backed out. Teens. They were so easily embarrassed. "Fair enough. Beauty is pain, or so the stars used to say."

He led them through the third floor and back to the lobby. The party in this area was slowing down, though the grill was still serving a good number of people. Mikhainon took a glass of champagne and swirled it in his hand, leaning against the bar.

"Well, what do you think?" He beamed. And then, he laughed, patting Chloe on the shoulder. He knew she was going to start with that awkward forced smile and shallow compliment business again. "You don't have to answer that. I know you're just going to start blushing again. Go back home, you. I'll be sticking around to welcome the Rosales when they come in."

With that, he took a long drink of his glass.

Chloe's Freudian torment was over, for now. Her father had invited her to see herself out, and Chloe would be more than happy to take that invitation.

Even if it had just gotten good, she didn't like the thought of her father having a hand in her sex life or learning about her kinks. She almost regretted getting him to introduce her to Jun - but she would be damned if she squandered the opportunity to make love to a tentacle monster. At least, one that she actually liked. There was one who showed up at Gomorrah on occasion, but he was transphobic, and Chloe only barely tolerated his presence. She could probably get him into her panties with minimal effort nowadays, but that hardly mattered. It was the principle of the thing.

"Thanks for showing me around," she managed to say before making her way to the elevator. She sighed as the elevator began to ascend. It was carrying her out of hell.

A bull of a man with much larger horns than her own spotted her as she got off on the ground floor. He seemed to undress her with his eyes, and he approached her, getting in her space. "You look like you're the tastiest thing on the menu here," he said in a low growl.

Chloe blinked. She parried a hand headed for her waist. "I-I'm, uh, I'm not a prostitute. I'm the owner's daughter." As he recoiled in surprise, she walked out as quickly as she could, not looking back. Her face was so red it hurt.

Ardos was on his way to Temptations with the Rosales when he saw Chloe heading out of the brothel. He looked at the bull man and frowned, jogging up to Chloe as she left the establishment. Ardos had no loyalties to Gabriel Baltimore, but he knew he was a Rosales, and he had to be protected because of that.

"Ms. Black," he said, addressing her with a voice more genial than his appearance would suggest. "Let me drive you home. It's not good to be out at night with your outfit." He didn't want to imply any victim blaming things, but there were one too many drunkards in the Strip.

With that, he led her into a black Rosales car and drove her home.
