While the many students near her looked as if they had everything bright and settled for their future here at Starlight Academy, Topaz herself looked distraught, confused, and the very least, scared out of her mind. She held her bag close to her chest, hoping that her powers wouldn't kick in and set the poor object up in flames. Her golden eyes were very much interested in the floor where her feet rested, her glasses resting on the tip of her nose, ready to fall off any moment with how the angle of her head was.

The amount of thoughts running through her head were overwhelming. What if she couldn't find her dorm? What if she couldn't find her classes and ended up late to every one? What if she couldn't make new friends on the first day? What if her first impression was bad? It all wanted to make her cry, but she held back the tears by closing her eyes for a few seconds and just imagining her mother's beautiful face smiling at her and telling her everything will be okay.

She was hoping more than anything that she could walk out of this office with the same disposition and feeling that the previous students had. She was also hoping her flames wouldn't make themselves known in a bad way. She was doing well up to this point, so perhaps it would stay that way. One could only hope.

Louise had just finished dropping off some student information with the administrative department and was about ready to go back to the infirmary when she saw a rather timid looking student sitting just outside the office with her bag clutched tightly to her chest. She didn't approach her at first, instead standing near the door a few steps away as she observed her and the way she was acting. It was almost as if she were experiencing some sort of abdominal pain or that maybe she had a bad headache; Louise honestly couldn't tell from where she was standing, but she knew she couldn't just leave her there like that. Especially if she was in some sort of pain or if something traumatizing had happened to her.

"Are you alright?" her approach was silent, but her voice was soft as she spoke, "Are you feeling ill?"

Stopping as she reached the chair, she stood over the young girl and stared down at her through lidded, green eyes.

"I can give you something if you're having a stomach ache...I promise it will make you feel better," she tried a concerned smile so as not to appear too intimidating to the seemingly terrified student.

Topaz's eyes scanned around a few minutes later, looking for any signs that her powers might have escaped her, smoke, small flares, a fiery smell; yet nothing that stimulated her senses which was a good sign to her. The last thing she wanted was to be blamed for burning the school down to the ground because she felt nervous about even being here. Her heart sank into her stomach at the thought as she clenched her bag tighter and continued to stare at the ground for a few more seconds.

A soft voice soon hit her eardrum as she slowly glanced next to her to see a girl, looked to be a little older than herself, ask her if she was alright, or feeling ill. It really did seem that she looked like she was ready to pass out from some sort of sickness but the reality was she was just scared.

The smile that the girl had given Topaz had warmed her heart just a little bit when spotted it, calmed down her nervousness just a bit, though not enough to actually look her in the eyes as she spoke in a soft and warm voice of her own. "I-i'm not sick..." Her eyes looked back at the floor. "I'm just worried.." Her sentences, short and to-the-point though left a bit of vagueness.</div>
