What had a spine, a front, and a back, but no flesh or bones? Books. Where could you find a lot of those? In the library.
So Riley was going to the school library. That was the easy part, she was sure. The hard part? Finding the one "marked with yellow."
She ended up finding such a book. It was huge, and about half of it had yellow pages. And it was a printed list of everyone's phone numbers? In the year of their lord two thousand and nineteen, Riley could not imagine why such a thing would exist. She would come back for it later.
Assuming she didn't find something more obviously suited to her needs. Maybe one with a yellow bookmark, or one with yellow marker or tape or something on it. Hopefully she would know it when she saw it. If she didn't find one of those, she was sure she would be the only person who wanted a phone book.
