Usually takes on the form of large blue-green blob of semi-transparent slime and mucus with gooey tendrils spouting from it. Can shapeshift into other shapes such as a humanoid or animalistic forms but while it can somewhat copy their shapes she would still maintain its coloration and gooey consistency. Is somewhat bioluminescent and is most obvious in the dark. One can make out glowing specks like stars held in suspension and swirls of glowing material inside like nebulas in space. Inside of its mass one can pick out objects floating inside of it that Gloop has collected.

Gourmet – Has a love and passion for food! Is also tempted easily with food, partially food items it has never tried before.
Affectionate – Is super snuggly and likes to give people warm slimly hugs!
Loyal – Incredibly loyal to their compatriots because they are Gloops friends!
Helpful – Gloop likes to help their friends… even if their help is unwelcomed.
Aloof – Often fails to notice when they are in danger in terriable danger unless someone tells Gloop of their predicament.
Curious – Has a almost child-like curiosity of her soundings, is always asking about the objects of mundane objects or the behaviors of others around itself. Most of their questions however are in the context of "can I eat this or not?"

Vibrosense – Can detect even the smallest of vibrations around it and often uses passive vibrations (such as the natural movement of the earth or vibrations generated from a passing car) to navigate around its environment like an omnidirectional echolocation. Can generally only make out anything around itself within 200 feet. Can be overloaded with large vibrations sources such as earthquakes or explosives. Its vibrosense is sensitive enough to even make out nearby sounds and thus capable of “hearing” objects behind walls. To Gloop, hearing and seeing are but one and the same itself.
Chemosense – Can recognize a variety of chemicals when if physical contact with an object and can pick up scent and chemical trails it comes across. It also gives Gloop an unrivaled sense of taste.
Temperature Sense – Can sense when its environment is getting too hot or too cold
Pressure Sense – Can detect changes in pressure around it.
Digestive Mucus – only about as acidic as lemon juice but given enough time Gloop could dissolve just about anything organic thanks to enzymes it secretes to aid in digestion. It will just take about a week however so anyone stuck inside of Gloop would have long suffocated from the lack of air before fearing to be digested.
Amorphous – Being a massive blob of slime has its perks. For one Gloop can slip through even the smallest of cracks and can take on a variety of shapes. In fact it can take only almost any shape so long as it continuous. Gloop can always take on take on several shapes if they wish but still constricted to their gooey composition.
Aggregate Liquid Physiology – Gloop is notoriously difficult to harm through conventional means, given that is blob of viscous liquid. Gloop is unfazed by physical attacks and efforts to separate its mass will only result in the slimly giblets coming back together and reform like the bad guy in the second Terminator movie. Its separated mass will naturally conglomerate to the largest remaining mass of Gloop and reform as a whole. Any mass that is lost (such as being burnt away) will eventually reform after consuming a sufficient amount of organic material.
Anti Septic – Gloops slime makes for a natural anti-septic and can be applied to topical injuries to prevent infection and promote healing. While its no healing potion or medi-gel, it useful to keep someone stabilized in pinch and prevent infection of the wound.
Viscous – Moving through Gloop is almost like moving through something like honey or syrup.
Slick – Gloops natural mucus makes them very slippery. This slime is useful for mucking up things or lubricating machinery temporarily.

Salt Weakness – While small concentrations are tolerable, excessive amounts of salt can cause great agony for Gloop as the water in their cells is sucked out. Thus Gloop tries to avoid highly salty environments such as the ocean.
Moisture Dependent – Requires healthy amounts of fresh water to remain active and prefers to keep to damp, cool, humid environments. While dry areas are tolerable, Gloop will noticeably shrink when it gets too hot/dry to try to conserve water.
Pollution Sensitive – Is vulnerable to excessive amounts of chemical pollution such as industrial toxins and chemicals that can make Gloop sick.

Though durable, extreme conditions such as being incinerated by rockets, thrown into the sun, overwhelming radiation, and powerful explosives are enough to overwhelm Gloop and destroy it. It will take some time for Gloop to produce their protective coating, waiting taking up to 30 minutes to produce.

Gloop doesn’t seem to recall much about its past, only darkness and stillness until a great vibration came to it and it wiggle its way to the source. By the time Gloop was discovered, the pirate band was already in the middle of their space voyage and Gloop proved too slippery to remove. Though Gloop was originally seen as spaceborne pest, the crew eventually came to tolerate the creature and learned that it possessed at least some intelligence after coaxing out with food.
Gloop was taken on as sort on as sort of pet at first, becoming the unofficial mascot of the ship. But as it grew larger from table scraps it also began show more intelligence. It came to shock to everyone when the loveable pet slime learned how to used universal translator unit to communicate with its ship members. At first it was basic words such as “food” and “cuddles”. After many monthes of development, Gloop had a firm grasp of language and was always trying to help out the crew whenever it could! While the help was appericated… Gloop tended to make a mess wherever they went so crew relegated Gloop with the honor of being the ship’s chef as Gloop was a very talentated culinary artist… surprisingly. Since then, Gloop has treated being the ship’s chef as a badge of honor, supplying the crew with hardy high quality meals with whater grub they manage to store on the ship!
