Glistening water in the morining

Matt walked aimlessly to the Lake. He sat at the edge and hung his legs into the cool clear water. It was soo cool and crisp at this time in the morning. He stood up again and staarted to pace around the lake.

"Why.."he thought,"do I feel so lonely?It just ISNT right.....'' He sat down again and put his feet in the water. He sighed and hoped something would happen so he wouldnt be so lonely...and bored...

[OoC: I can't decide whether to use Mery or Myndy. lol I'll use both.]

Pooka stopped walking. Mery knelt and picked up her eye-seeing dog. He barked warningly, which told Mery that someone else was there. "Hush." She said. "I'm Mery." She said to whoever was there. She absently twisted the engagement ring around her finger as she waited for reply.

Myndy walked out to the lake, book in hand. She saw that there were already two people there. She stopped walking for a moment, then started again. She could just ignore them. It wouldn't be that hard.

"Umm who said that" Matt said as he looked around. He saw Mery. He stood up and went over to shake her hand. "I am Matt" he said in his sincere voice. He noticed the dog and realized she couldnt see, but he didnt bring it up.

He saw another figure out of the corner of his eye, but before he went to introduce himself he waited for Mery to respond..

"Hi, Matt." Mery replied with a lazy smile. She didn't shake his hand of course, but Pooka sniffed at it. He decided that Matt was okay and laid down.

Myndy dangled her feet in the water. She opened her book and started reading.

"I will be back in a while" derek said distractedly. He walked over and sat down next to myndy.

"What are you reading" He said sincerely. "My name is Matt, Sorry if i startled you..." He smiled his big perfect smile. He put his feet into the water again.

Myndy looked up. "It's no problem." She closed her book, so that the cover was face up. "Pride and Prejudice, by Jane Austen." She said.

"Hmm Is it a good book?? I havent read it..." Matt said. He stood up and outstretched his wings... He flew infront of Myndy and over the water. He smiled again.

"Yep." Myndy replied. But she thought (most) books were good. She watched intently as he flew over the water. Even if she were able to, she wouldn't fly, considering she was afraid of heights.

Matt saw Myndy look at him flying. He got an idea...

"Do you wanna try flying?? Turn around and spread out your arms..." he said. He landed infront of her on the edge of the grass. He wanted to show her what it felt like to fly..although he couldnt quite understand why it mattered to him...

Myndy shrugged. She might as well be daring for a change. "Sure why not." She did as she was told. "Okay."
