How did he get here? His head swam, his eyes watered, he felt like he could barely breathe. The horrid smells that inhabited the air were second only to the people lining the street. This place was awful. This place sucked. So why was he here? Looking back, he couldn't remember anything past five minutes ago, when an overweight man had leaned over and threatened to heave on his shoes, which Ambrose replied to with his own, different kind of threat. Was it necessary? No, god no. But it had felt good in the moment, and that was what mattered to him right now.

His head throbbing, Ambrose grasped the back of it, dull pain spreading along his head, feeling like it was traveling across the synapses of his brain. Christ, what had he done, why was he here?!? Looking around, he took in the sights around him. Bars, clubs, and various other...locales...surrounded him, the people were intoxicated and loving every second of it. Every five seconds someone looked at him with one of two faces, looking to take his money one of two ways.

He needed a break from this. Taking a second from walking aimlessly along the strip, Ambrose ducked into a divet in the walls of some building or another, leaning and catching his breath the best he could. Rubbing his eyes, Ambrose took another look around, his eyes widening rapidly at his surroundings. The pain forgotten, he gazed at the multiple colors that seemed to light ever alley and dance along every face. This place sucked and the people were awful, but there was something addictive about those neon lights and the sense of satisfaction of being here.

However, he wasn't out sight-seeing. Or...was he? Whatever. Ducking into the building he had been leaning against, paying no mind to the type or sign, he would take a breather inside, away from people hopefully. He needed to get home.

Or...did he?

Kaya was pretty much having a slow day, there weren't as many people coming into her shop as usual so she was doing necessary paperwork trying to get some things in order to properly expand her shop. Dark Arts Fashion had gotten quite the name for itself recently since she had joined as a Designer for that Magazine and with her ability to make any sort of apparel one could think of it had drawn a lot of customers.

But this was a slow day, there wasn't anyone in the shop other then her at the moment. Live was off somewhere doing her own thing. It wasn't like Kaya controlled her friends life or anything but she worried about her a lot. But with a sigh Kaya looked up from her papers at the multitudes of display pieces, each a copy of one of her best works. Standing up she moved over to one of them and adjusted the cloth there. What should she do next. Was mainly going through her mind at the moment as she reveled over her works of art.

Then the sound of the door opening and closing with the familiar pang of psionic energy telling her there was someone entering the shop. She spoke up immediately and began moving over to the door so she could get a look on her new customer. Almost all of her customers had been female so the display pieces were as such made for women. It was to Kaya's immense surprise to find a young man entering her shop but she spoke more out of habit then anything else. "Welcome to Dark Arts Fashion, how may I assist you today?" When she spoke she also took stalk of the boy's attire and trying to begin summoning up her skills to think of what she could make for him when he asked.

Christina was having a "good" day. She had filled up on blood yesterday, so she wouldn't need any for a while.

To continue this, she was happily Window shopping. Ending up in front of a Fashion Store "Dark Arts", she looked inside. There was just a girl like her, purple skin too! isn't that amazing?

The only other person she could see was a boy. Why would he be here? Nevermind, the store had some cute clothes. Without a thought, she walked into the store, reaching into her bag. Did her card still work?

Ambrose immediately straightened up at the sound of a voice. Female, older than him. Something about...fashion?

Aw, hell.

He had meandered into a clothing store. Not just any clothing store, a dark arts based fashion store. Taking stock of his surroundings, the boy would notice the amount of female and feminine geared clothing put in display. In fact, from where he was he couldn't see any amount of masculine clothing. Then again, the room was dark, his vision was blurry and his head was pounding harder than the bass at a rave.

Not long after he himself had entered and the woman tending the store had asked what she could help him with, another entered the store. He didn't get a good look, but from the glance he managed, it looked like a girl, rather short and surprisingly pale.

Turning his attention back to the shopkeep, the boy would grab the back of his head, deciding a witty reply would go over well, at least so he hoped. "Hmm. Find clothes that'll make me attractive?" the boy would say, murmuring under his breath after speaking. Part of him wanted to turn tail and run. These two would never remember him. He had no reason to be here. But...being in here was better than being out there. So in here he would stay, at least for a small while.

Shortly after she has spoken up to the young man a young woman who dressed a bit oddly compared to the average person came into the shop as well. "Ah welcome mam to Dark Arts Fashion. I shall assist you in just a moment. Feel free to look around, you can touch the outfits you see around the shop but please do not remove them. All of them are display only and if you find something you like we can work something out in a moment after I help this gentleman."

Kaya then turned to the young man as he spoke saying he wanted cloths that would make him look more attractive. "Well, that is quite the conundrum isn't it. Attractiveness varies wildly from person to person. However we can definitely work on that. If you would follow me we can work on that however." Kaya then motioned for the young man to follow her towards a raised sections of the floor. There were full body mirrors on the far side of the raise section would allow a customer to view the cloths they would be wearing.

"Now, full disclosure. Any piece of clothing you will be asking me to make for you will require skin contact. Are you okay with this?" While she discussed this she turned her head to look over her shoulder at the young man.

Christina walked around the shop front. There were a variety of styles on the mannequins, some of which she had never seen before. Acknowledging the Woman's instruction, she felt the fabrics used to construct the outfits.

Maybe coming in here was a good idea. Her maid costume- the same since she had been bitten in- had been discolored, after all, it used to be white. Maybe something a little more modern chic?

Looking over to the boy, she wondered why he was here, he didn't seem like the type to go clothes shopping.

Wordlessly, the boy would follow the shop tender, running her response through his mind a few times. It was true what she had said, attractiveness did vary incredibly depending on the person. Beauty was in the eye of the beholder, yadda yadda yadda. He had been sarcastic, but she seemed to have taken him quite seriously. Ambrose couldn't yet tell if that was a good thing or a bad one.

Stepping onto the raised floor, the boy would look at the mirrors surrounding him, his tall and lanky physique reflected multiple times over. God, he really needed to work out. Lift weights, start running, maybe join some sort of athletics team or group. Get buff. Maybe that'd help him find a friends group, or god forbid, a girlfriend.

The shop tender asked if he was alright with being touched, as was required to mend clothes accurate in size. The boy would stop looking himself over in the mirror, turning to the tender. "Hmm? Yeah, that's fine. Fair warning, I have a bad track record with uh...spontaneous combustion" Ambrose would say, opening his left hand and letting fire roll from his fingertips before closing it, extinguishing the flame. The boy would then look over his shoulder, a single eyebrow cocked and a grin on his face.

Watching as the young man stepped up onto the raised portion of floor her mind settled on several different outfits. Now it was just a matter of what the customer wanted to have be made. Though when he said that he had a problem with spontaneous combustion she raised an eyebrow at him. She could only assume that he did not know what Shadow Silk was. "Well then you'll have nothing to worry about from my Shadow Silk fabric. It cannot be cut or burned. I can even make it bullet resistant to light handguns if you wish the weave to be closer together. Truly it all depends on what you'd like it to do."

For the maid in the back Kaya knew that she would be touching the clothing. Very few didn't but Kaya could only smile, the cloth when touched addapted to be as comfortable as possible when in skin contact. For some that would mean it would feel like it didn't even touch them at all. To others that was to feel stiff and rigid making it seem stronger. So the young woman was probably going to be another buyer for today. But her attention was on the young man right now.

With a well used flick of her hand a curtain of shadow silk spawned around the area containing the raised section of floor. From the inside of the area Kaya and Ambrose could look out if a bit washed out in color, while people couldn't look in. "Alright then. What would you like me to make for you today?"

Oh wow, it was like touching a cloud! It was that soft, Christina rubbed her face against it.

Thinking about the only other customer, she wondered. Boys were always making trouble, and this one was obviously being sarcastic about wanting clothing. Not good for that poor Tailor.

Maybe she should buy some shadow silk. looking over to get another glimpse at the Woman to ask about it, Christina was surprised by that appearance of the black curtain and fell on her behind.

The boy's face would return to normal as the shop tender explained something called Shadow Silk. Apparently a very sturdy substance, proofed against fire and blades, and even bullets if it was woven tightly enough. The boy's mind would flit through pictures of his past. He would give off a visible shudder before nodding, impressed at the durability of the material.

As the talk turned serious once more, the tender seemingly spawned a curtain around them, making everything outside seem gray, quiet and solemn. From outside, he heard a small thud. Thinking of the only other person in the quaint store, the boy would turn around, looking out towards the girl. Se had, indeed, fallen, though it didn't look as though she had taken anything with her.

"Are you alright out there?" the boy would say, raising his voice slightly. He hoped the fabric didn't completely muffle sound.

After a hopeful wait for a response, the boy would turn back to the business at hand, putting a hand to his mouth and pausing in thought. "I'm not much of a fashion expert, so feel free to stop and correct anything that might be better fit. So...button up shirt, snug fit- not constricting but enough to legitimately show my body. Tailored soft, a tad short in the arms so I can roll them. Pants, fashioned resembling dress pants, but not an exact copy. I'm looking for everyday clothes, that comfortable space between street clothes and dress clothes. Neutral colors, darker suits me better than lighter. And if possible, do weave them tight. Never know when it may come in handy." Ambrose would say, using his hands to gesture as he spoke.
