Anne had a lot of things that she needed to be doing. As a result she was doing none of them, instead taking the time she should be working on any number of assignments to explore the grounds of the school. The combination of a poor sense of direction, stressed out wandering, and not spending much time on campus in the first place led to the only logical result.

Anne was lost. She was wandering through parts of the school she could have sworn never existed before today, getting more and more certain that this had to have been some kind of illusion from someone who had it out for her. Still.. she was a second year. Even if she was undeniably lost she couldn't just come out and say that. She'd look like an idiot. So instead she just kept wandering for now, the look on her face saying everything for her that she was too embarrassed to say out loud.

Unfortunately for her, her luck... wasn't getting any better with who found her.

An equally-lost Sonny ran into Anne- literally. It was as if he appeared out of nowhere, rounding a corner and powerwalking directly into her. He mumbled something that sounded like a weak attempt at an apology before actually looking at her; as soon as he did, he backpedaled with (frankly impressive) speed, putting a few feet between them.

" A-ah, hello? Do you.... know where the lake is again....?"

Of course. Of course, of everyone she could have run into, it had to be someone similarly directionally challenged. She was knocked down onto her ass by the bump from Sonny and, in her own annoyance with the situation, opted not to get up right away. Instead she just moved to a sitting position, sighing quietly to herself.

"I, uh, might be able to find it from the school entrance" She replied, half mumbling out of embarrassment.

Sonny seemingly didn't pick up on her own struggles. At all. He looked down at her, seeming a bit more comfortable with her on the ground, and continued on.

" So... can we find the entrance and then the lake?"

At the very least, it seemed to occur to him that maybe just letting her sit there was a bit rude; he offered a hand, his dark nails talon-like.

"That's not-" She cut herself off, chewing her lip as she tried to figure out the right way to deal with this. Honestly... this kid didn't seem like he would think much of her being lost so she decided to bite the bullet.

"...I'm lost. I don't actually know how to get anywhere from here." She said with an exasperated sigh.

Sonny blinked, seemingly not frustrated or upset- just confused. He thought that perhaps this strangely-colored woman was new, like him, but why had she not asked anyone if she were lost? He was under the impression that that was a normal course of action from what his teachers had been saying.

Still, despite her strange choices, she was still a fellow classmate: he should attempt to help her.

Sonny waited for her to take his hand before trying to speak in a 'friendly' way.

"...then... we should ask someone else, classmate. They will know better than us."

Of course. That would be the logical option, but she'd thrown out the logical option a long time ago. She looked around, already starting to walk down a hall and.. just hoping that the boy would follow her.

"Here, w-why don't we just.. see where this goes? Maybe it's a shortcut."
