Getting to Know You

"Only four years." she said shrugging as if it where nothing,"Your probley what was going on with the stick arn't you?"

"Yeah..I am." he said wondering why she so abrumptyl changed the subject from her work to the stick.

"Well there was this BIG spider..." she expanded her arms,"And it landed on me so I grabbed the sticked and WACK WACK WACK!" she pretty much jumped of her seat reinacting it,"And then it ran off over there in the woods!" she relaxed and settled down,"Sorry I'm so jumpy this is just my second well I don't count the last one first date."

Logan smiled, "that's fine, it's my first date to." he said, "I'll admit, I was sorta nervous showing up.." he said with a shrug, figuring he wouldn't ask about her 'previous date'.

"Me too." she said blushing,"So....You say you have no powers I find that hard to belive."

"Well.." he said, "I don't.." he shrugged hooping she had bought it.

"Your not the first." she said sighing,"There's a guy named Ian he has no powers either." she said,"Anyways......what do you wana talk about it....or do?" she said smiling playfully.

Logan raised an eyebrow. He knew someone named Ian, but he hadn't seen him since he left his old school. Him and Ian were best friends in their old school, but he knew this couldn't be the Ian he knew. "Ian who?" he asked curiously.

"Askuren I think..." she said,"I used to like him alot...but he liked someone eles...and now I'm trailing off i buisness that may not be wanted." she said bowing her head and blushing deeply.

Logan sat speechless for a moment, "he goes here?" he asked very calmly, "I was best friends with him in ym old school, we both got expelled for fighting." he said with a smile, "I'll have to go find him later." he said realizing he didn't want to let his excitment ruin his date with her, "So he turned you down?" he asked lookign at her, "That's strange, because your so pretty, I can't see why he'd say no.." he said with a smile.
