<div align=center>Oliver's eyes widened at the mention of Bill's boyfriend's power. Electricity? As much as Oli loved the study of paleontology, he had to admit that the control of electricity was much more useful than what he could do. But then again, he imagined that he would shock himself all of the time, being the klutz he was. The last thing he needed was to be more fidgety. ”Well, your boyfriend certainly has a very interesting ability... But you do too!” He assured, honestly rather impressed by the both of them.

As for what he could do, he was uncertain. He looked around the area, only seeing fragile landscaping and places that would be missed if decimated. But he had to remember- he was not only in a new school, but an island of itself. He had heard of a city beyond the school's gates, as well as forests and other regions. He looked back to Bill, curiosity in his facial expression. ”What else is on this island, if you know?” But as he asked the question, he scolded himself for doing so. He ran his hand through his hair, feeling bad for the fact conversation wasn't his strong point and that he was probably being a nuisance. ”Ah, sorry again for asking so many questions! I am not so skilled with conversation, and uh...” He gulped, realizing that he was the one making things worse. With an inhale, he regained his composure. ”I guess I'll have to fly over some time to explore for myself. This does seem like a lovely place to tour about. Much more intriguing than my old boarding school..." Ugh thinking about that place made his stomach twist in knots. He was the outcast there, and that was before he even had powers. He was secretive enough for them to spread lies, but well known for him to be the running joke all throughout primary school. He prayed that this place was different. </div>

<div align=center>The boy nodded a little, "he can sometimes end up... Losing it though..." The boy frowned, his mind tracing back to that little incident quite some time ago. The burns had healed now, but he still bore rather nasty scars on his forearms that he didn't much like looking at. They weren't all that bad, Bill was glad of that. They could have been much worse, though he'd kept them clean and bandaged, the bandages had been more or less due to the fact that it made him feel queasy to look at them. He shook his head and smiled though, that hadn't been Gabriel's fault.

"Well... I don't really leave campus very often... I'm not very adventurous, I'm afraid." He smiled softly, in almost an embarrassed sort of manner. William wasn't really one for leaving his comfort zone, he got lost very easily, he didn't much like being alone in strange places. The poor boy had completely freaked out on his first day and had ended up hiding up in his bedroom for most of it. "There's a lot of nice cafés in the city... Sometimes I go and get coffee with... With Gabriel.. Sometimes..."

He didn't really mind Oli asking all these questions, William liked talking to this boy. He was nice and non-threatening, he didn't seem like the kind of person that was liable to yell or tease him. William liked those kind of people best. He liked people he didn't feel intimidated by, this boy was easy to talk to at least, and Bill couldn't help but think he reminded him of someone...

"I... If I found... Gabriel... I could show you around the city?" He offered, softly. "I can show you around the school easily, but... I don't really know my way around anywhere else." A small smile crossed his features, Gabe was good at finding places. He didn't get lost at all. Bill had the overpowering urge to look after the boy. He wondered if this was how other people felt when they looked at himself. They were both more or less as vulnerable as each other.</div>

<div align=center>Concern faintly proceeded to well up inside the pit of his stomach with the ominous mention of his boyfriend's losing of control. Oliver, seemingly like many other students, had a fear of this. And from the stories he had heard thus far accidents happened to even the best of people. But mistakes were a way to learn, right? His first time shifting occurred with the complete devouring of his former mentor, and since then he hasn't injured a soul as a prehistoric monster. Hopefully, that streak would keep up, just as he hoped for the best between the two.

When William explained that he didn't leave the campus that often, Oliver smiled softly. Truth be told, he wasn't terribly adventurous either, but on occasion his ambition for knowledge surpassed his known capabilities. He smiled a bit and nodded with comprehension. ”Oh, alright. I understand!” He responded politely with the confirmation that William didn't venture much to know about the island itself. It was pretty daunting in content, now that he realized it. But, by the sound of it, there was a city on the island that seemed rather pleasant. It was surprisingly comforting to know that the island was not just a separate field for education but its very own society. Though it was isolated at least it could stand on its own. But with Oli's meek nature, it didn't look like he'd be experiencing it on ground any time soon. That was, until there was a rather kind offer from William.

A look of almost childish bafflement shocked his face as he was taken off guard by the suggestion. He would be gratifying intensely as is for a simple ten minute tour of the facility. But this? My, the people at the academy were pleasant! ”R-really? Oh, I wouldn't want to trouble you two, but gosh... That would be fantastic!” He confirmed with a large smile, his hands clasping together. Of course, even if it was just a thought, it still was appreciated. William seemed to have a benevolent persona about him. It was a rarity to find, at least for him, someone older than him but yet still a kid that was kind. In a way, Oliver was sort of glad he made himself look like an idiot a few minutes prior. At least he had a chance to find someone a lot like himself at the academy. ”You do not have to, really, you've already helped me out a lot already. But the company would be very much appreciated... I'd probably get eaten alive out there on my own.” He chuckled a bit, though was serious. He was 4'6", was a dork, and was a prepubescent mess in general. On the streets, without the proper mindset, he'd be eaten alive. </div>

<div align=center>William wished he was a little more adventurous, a lot of people might have called him boring, unless you talked to him about the right things. Most people assumed he was boring merely because he was rather quiet, he was faint hearted and softly spoken, he didn't like to raise his voice and it scared him when others did. Perhaps he'd make friends quicker if he was more adventurous, people were ever so scary if you were a vulnerable, effeminate boy who would cry as soon as look at you. He was sensitive- he couldn't help it. He smiled brightly at the younger boy as he accepted his offer.

"Oh! Great!" He chirped, Gabriel wouldn't mind. William was awfully persuasive and he tended to be able to manipulate the other boy rather easily. It was a little difficult to say no to William Beckett, there was something about that puppy dog look on his face that was almost irresistible. It didn't help that he could switch tears on and off in an instant. It was a talent really, he was rather good at getting his own way in a manner that people didn't realize.

"Gabriel's probably in lessons... But I can always show you around campus while we wait for him?" He chirped, "I don't have anything better to do, and besides, it's nice to have some company... People don't usually approach me very often... And I get kinda frightened... Talking to people." Oli was right, he probably would get eaten alive. If William was with him, at least he wouldn't have to get eaten alive all by himself.</div>

<div align=center>Oliver was overjoyed with William's agreement to show him around both the city and campus. He was practically an adult in a child's body, with the exceptions in both his sensitivity and his naiveness in practically everything. All he needed to know was that he was being offered something that involved generosity, which was enough to send the boy in flabbergasted stupor, especially considering the elder boy didn't need to help him at all. But Oliver wasn't used to friendly intentions and selflessness. It really was a big deal, but of course Oliver's genuine gratitude worked as his folly. Anyone could practically wrap him around their finger, and potentially trap him for life. Because he hated to make others upset or disappointed. Playing their cards right, someone could end up with a willing lackey to hang around with. It just depended on the heart of the other party, and hopefully William wouldn't see too much of this weakness.

”I would very much appreciate it if you did so.” He replied with a small bow of his head, his words a bit formal. Of course, William's reasoning was very much relatable. If Oliver only had a dollar for every time that occurred to him. He smiled more pleasantly, understanding. "I agree completely. And trust me, I know how that feels...” Why else would he always have his head buried in the books? But that thought right now wasn't enough to get him down, right? Nope! With a more peppy persona he went to approach his briefcase on the marble bench, and sealed the papers he chased inside of it. ”But I don't see why not, you seem like a very nice person.” He commented, making a small 'uff' when picking up the slightly heavy bag. ”At least, I think you're very nice.” Oliver smiled brightly, before placing his briefcase in front of him in gently folded hands. ”Would you like to go now? There's no rush, whenever you want is fine!” </div>
