Getting Away

The tree Everto was leaning on burst into flame. A pink mark was left on Everto's face where she slapped him.
Everto felt the fire build up inside of him. His eyes lit up with the ferice white fire, and his entire body became engulfed inflame. Fire bgean to shoot after Mraine, and though Everto tried to stop it he could not. Not for several minutes.
When his anger had subsided, Everto fell down amidst the burnign remaines of the tree. Breathing heavily, Everto tried to summon the energy to go and find Marine.

Everto managed to go and find Marine. He found her, burnt by one of his fireballs,. Picking her up, he took her to some shade.

Simon's smile twitched, and he went to where Marine was being carried by Everto. Well, that was interesting.

Everto didn't say anything. He placed marine carefully in the sade, his dark eyes full of concern. Sure, he wasn't exactly fond of this girl...but to kill her? No. He wouldn't let that happen.
Brushing her hair out of her face, he checked for vital signs. She was breathing. Good. He needed to get her up to the Infirmary. Soon, if not now.

Simon walked over to Everto. 'Hey! Need some help?' He felt Everto's concern for the girl and anger at himself. Hmmm, maybe he isn't such a bad guy. Simon smiled at him. 'I could help you carry her there.'

"Thanks," said Everto, his voice cold, though not cruel. Picking Marine up, Everto got to his feet.

'Alright' Simon said. He picked Marine up to and together they made their way to the infermitory.
