Georgina Speer
17 ★ November 26th ★ Female (She/Her)
Species: Human ★ Student ★ High School (11th Grade)

Appearance Description: May I introduce Miss Georgina Speer to you all? She's the one over there, with the medium length, straight brown hair. Ah, she's heard me. Now that she's turned around you can see her large brown eyes and cute little nose. She has some wonderful cheekbones and a gorgeous smile with slightly crooked teeth, but that just makes it more adorable. All of her features are framed together in her sweet heart-shaped face. And now she's covering her face with her hat: you won't catch her anywhere without a hat, that's for certain. She has a pretty extensive collection of hats for every occasion, and she won't let you forget it.

Let's move on to her body and clothing, yes? Ok, she's around 5'5", so not too tall, but not a hobbit either. She owns a decent weight, an alright body. It could be better if she would be bothered to move her ass off of the sofa everyone now and again. Yes, I'm talking about you George, don't look at me like that. You will never see her in a dress, it's just not her style. I've heard her saying something comparing dresses to useless curtain fabric or something. You'll normally catch her in jeans or joggers and some sort of a top, and she likes to wear converse or boots - if it's comfortable, she will wear it. Inconvenience is not her aim. And that's about it for her looks.

Personality Description: So, now let's talk about how she acts as an average human being. Are you ready for this, George? I can see you shaking your head but I don't care, let's get on with it: Georgina can be a charming person. When she wants to be. She's very much a tomboy with slight girlish tendencies, such as the facts that she wears some makeup, likes cute things and will watch sappy movies every once in a while. She can be extremely cheeky and sometimes doesn't know when she's stepping over the line, but she's a lot of fun to be around and isn't a bad person, per say. She treats those that she loves as she would like to be treated and tries to live most days to their fullest. She's pretty quirky and has a wild imagination, but that's just part of the fun.

But as I said before, she treats those that she likes with respect; she can grow a sharp tongue to those who annoy her or offend her. It's her defence mechanism. It's not the most effective way of dealing with those kinds of problems, and it has given her difficulties in the past and will probably do so again in the future, but she is strong-willed and intelligent, not someone to ignored or stepped on. She is thoughtful and often tends to float away with her own thoughts, but she isn't stupid. No, she is actually pretty intelligent. She can also be irresponsible, by using her gift to trick or prank her peers. She also has a love of music: she can sing and has been learning guitar since she was 6. She's sarcastic, but an amazing woman as well who's willing to be bold and outgoing and have a fun time with you, as long as you don't get on her bad side.

She likes the colour Maroon and she adores puppies, especially huge, lively ones. She likes gaming and will happily spends hours on end in front of a TV with a controller. She loves the smell of really fresh, crunchy bread - but then again, who doesn't? She enjoys reading soppy novels as well as revved up action-adventure recounts of battle and glory, and she will enjoy either with a mug of hot chocolate and a couple of biscuits. Or some cupcakes. Did someone mention flapjacks? She likes those too. In fact, she loves baked goods on the whole. Bring on the brownies! She likes people that she can relate to and those who are generally quite pleasant. Personally, I think she's having an affair with her laptop, she uses it so much, I wouldn't be surprised. And one of the things she loves most in the world is her hat collections; its her pride and joy.

Time for complaints: oh the wonder. She doesn't like to shop for the sake of shopping. I need a present for my dad? She'll be there in a second. Let's go get some nachos? She's already out the door and calling the Mexican place to pre-order said nachos. Do you wanna go shopping later? ...what's the point? She hates having to stay in one place for too long, it's too boring. She can't stand the taste of bananas, she says it's like eating a soft candle, why would you choose to do that? She hates having to be sensible or serious unless it's something she's really passionate about. And why does the colour pink exist?

She's a natural comedian, great with the comebacks and quick on the draw. She's an intelligent being and a fast learner, eager to develop her talent (but not her tracking ability). She's a creative person as well and is very confident about everything she does. She's true to herself, which is rare these days, and she isn't afraid to speak her mind when she thinks such a thing needs to be done.

One of George's strongest talents is her ability to not care less, which she does a lot. Her intelligence can develop into arrogance, which is not the most flattering trait. She's impatient by nature, wanting to get on and do things by hand and move around instead of sitting and listening. Even though she's not purposefully bad, her sharp tongue has gotten the better of her many times in the past, causing her more trouble than she's worth. She's quietly jealous of the people around her, considering that there are these amazing creatures and magical beings, and all she can do is be a sentient GPS. She is afraid of losing the respect she has earned from the people she loves though, or just being alone in general and not being able to change that fact. And she's not a fan of heights either - those people who stand on the glass parts of really tall buildings are insane, and not the good insane.

Species Abilities: She's human. She can curl her tongue and her joints over extend, those are... abilities.

Powers:
Tracking
George is a tracker, self named. When she tracks somebody, she can see them and their surroundings, and her mental image can move around the person and a certain distance from them so she can work out where they are if she doesn't know the area. To track a person, she must know what their face looks like and their full name, otherwise she might track the wrong person, or she won't be able to find them. After tracking for a short amount of time (up to a few minutes), she might get a minor headache or forget why she was tracking the person. This wears off after a few minutes. If she tracks for long amounts of time, she will become overcome with migraines and amnesia, forgetting where she is, who she is and why she was tracking. These side effects can last from about 15 minutes up to 3 or 4 hours, and they will decrease in severity as time goes on, when she actually trains and practices her ability.

Biography: Born on November the 26th on the Manta Carlos Islands, Georgina Speer was the embodiment of a bouncing baby girl, happy almost all of the time and her childish laughter could cheer up any soul around. When she went to kindergarten, she flourished, learning more and more everyday. She found every test and challenge was a piece of cake, and always too easy. As she grew and grew, she began to lose the ability to try harder and started to put in less effort because she seemed to do just as well that way as before, so she quickly became bored. This meant she fell into the way of pranking. To brighten up the dull days, she would pull off little cheeky tricks on her peers, the teachers or even just strangers, depending on where she was, of course. Through this, she discovered her talent when she least expected it.

At the age of 13, hiding behind a corner in a hallway, George and two of her friends were snickering quietly, ready to pull off a prank on one of the 'popular' people in their year. They saw the girl approaching and were about the trigger the prank when- "Guys, stop." Her friends turned to her in confusion. She was staring blankly at a space on the wall, "Security guy is coming, hide everything, hide it!" One of the security team (who she didn't know the name of, but knew the face of very well) was coming over after seeing something on the school's CCTV system involving water balloons and some misbehaving students. George told her friends exactly where he was and she hid in a cupboard nearby with one of them, whilst the other, a fae, turned invisible and clung to the wall. Once he had entered, looked around and left in confusion, George's friends confronted her. She said she had no clue how she knew, she just did.

She told her parents, Harriet, a human who could change size at will and Jorildyn, a tree elf, once she got home, and of course, they were pleased, but George wasn't. DK, her older brother, had had his talents from birth, as a half elf, half human with the ability to control plants and her younger sister, Louise, had been blessed with super speed since she was able to walk. Was there anything else? She wondered. There had to be, if her siblings had such impressive powers, but... that clearly wasn't the case. The only thing she had inherited from her father was his lush brown hair.

Since she had been on the islands her whole life, nothing changed. The school was informed of her ability developing and she began to receive training for it, which she took part in with a lackadaisical attitude until they were no longer compulsory. It didn't help that when she wanted to use her power, she couldn't use it for long, but it felt like there was no point working on it. When would this tracking ever help?

So from that point, she worked on school with the same effort she had before, which was not much, and continued to have fun with her peers. From time to time, she would use her power, but it was bit of a rarity, since she considers it to be so pointless.

Additional Information: She's not been kissed or dated anyone yet. She refuses to be called Georgina and won't respond to the name unless she's in trouble - she will take most other variations on the name though; mainly George. She used to have a golden retriever called Russell who passed away. Her favourite movie is the DUFF, because she feels she can relate (apart from the lack of hats and the excess of dating).
