Galen Evercrest

Stands at 6' has medium length black hair and beard, a scar across the bridge of his nose, he usually he wears jeans, with a white t-shirt and a flannel over shirt, also has a suit and light combat armor when needed.

Galen is a kind and patient man, he loves people, and is quite social, enjoying drinks with colleges, making jokes and laughing, and loves his work as a teacher. All in all he comes off as a normal individual. Underneath this is steel, hard and cold when needed, he's a warrior and a skilled one. He has little tolerance for things like cruelty and does his best to follow laws, though he will break them if he believes its necessary, his clan as a whole teaches chaotic good methods, for those living in secret can't always fully follow laws. He fully believes people have the right to defend themselves, so he offers to train the students in combat and self defense, both unarmed and with weapons. He's very slow to anger, has been trained to control such emotions, but if truly angered it'll likely be terrible and frightening.

Elemental Mastery: He's a master of element manipulating spells, granting him a few abilities.

-Fire: He can produce and control fire. This fire can burn through flesh easily, and melt metal if applied long enough. He can use it in a number of ways, blasts of fire being the obvious one as well as throwing fireballs.

-Ice: He can produce and control ice, it'll come out as what looks like a cold thick freezing mist. This ice mist can cause up to third degree frostbite and form ice structures. He can use it in a number of ways, blasts to freeze targets being the obvious one as well as bursts of sharp ice shards.

-Lightning: He can produce and control electricity. The electricity can be very powerful, even lethal to humans. He can use it in a number of ways, bolts of electricity to be fired at targets being the obvious one as well as orbs of electricity to be thrown. He's immune to lightning when using this magic.

Limits/Weaknesses:
-Element: He's still vulnerable to elements not under his control, so someone else's fie, ice and lightning can harm him.
-Control: He cannot control elements that's been magically created by others.
-Range: The element must remain within seeing distant but he doesn't have to be looking at it.


Mana Weapons: He can form weapons from mana, magical energy. He can coat them in the elements he can control.

-Chakrams: Twin glowing gold energy chakrams, there circular blades of about two and a half feet in width, with a handle for use in the center. They can be used for close quarters combat or be thrown like a disk.

-Shield: A glowing glass like energy shield that can appear on either of his arms. Its about the size of a riot shield.

-Sword: A glowing blue long sword that can be used either in one or two hands.

Limits:
-Endurance: These weapons are as strong as strong as steel weapons forged by a master weapons smith, strong but not indestructible.
-He can only use one kind of weapon at a time. And is limited to one sword or shield at a time or two chakrams.
-If damaged or destroyed he can't repair them, but any damage will auto repair in twenty four hours, if destroyed they'll also respawn in twenty four hours.

History Of The Clan:
-Who are the Evercrests? If you were to ask an average person, they'd likely shrug, the name would have no meaning to them. But if you were to ask a member of the supernatural community, they'd immediately recognize the name.
-So who are the Evercrests? There a clan of warrior mages, dedicated to keeping peace among the people of the supernatural community, protecting both them and normal humans, and began aiding in the protection of the veil when MC implemented it.
-There a very ancient group, who's roots can be traced to the earliest recorded human use of magic, but there official formation is tied to one of the most famous legends in history, the legend of King Arthur.
-After the fall of King Arthur, mankind slowly started to turn against the supernatural. Human magic users were especially hated.
-Some mages saught refuge in isolated locations like the mystic island of Avalon. Other took a different route, and fought to keep peace between mankind and the supernatural, so a clan was formed with this as their mission, lead by a man named Evercrest.
-Time went on, many conflicts were avoided thanks to the clan, eventually their leader died and they took his name as the official clan name.
-Eventually the supernatural faded into myth, but the clan continued to operate, keeping the peace and protecting the veil after MC implemented it.

Galen:
-Galen Evercrest was born into the modern clan, a descendant of the founder he was born with a talent for magic, particularly combative magics.
-As he grew older, he was allowed on missions for his clan, he proved excellent in the field, a talented fighter.
-His parents died on such a mission, while it was terrible it did motivate him to train harder.
-Eventually he came to Manta Carlos to attend the school, learn more about magic and the supernatural.
-Ultimately he went to school to be a teacher, and has recently joined the SA staff. But he still serves his clan and will occasionally takes leaves to do missions for them.

-Will occasionally smoke a cigar and enjoys most alcoholic drinks
