A young girl strode rapidly through the forest's branches, once at the edge, dh4e gracefully lowered to the ground. Her long brown sun paled hair hung in front of her face. The sight of the lake made a smile appear on her young face. Extending her hands and feet to a more bigger size, she thrudged through the snow to the ice.. Stepping on it, she laughed and started to run...

Fabian looked at the girl from where he was sitting, such being the base of a tree and smiled. "Are you in a hurry to get some where miss?" He asked in a playful manner.

She looked up at him, her blue eyes smiling while her face was only graced with an enormous one.
-Nope, I just fancy skating barefoot.-she replied laughing.

"Sounds like fun but won't you hurt yourself?" he asked somewhat concerned. Last time he had fallen on ice he had actually bled so he couldn't picture what skating bare foot on it would feel like.

She looked at her feet and took one in her hand, the "palm" so to speak facing her face.
-Why would it hurt?-she asked looking up.
Her foot had a leathery look to it and was black from all the mud and other junk she had walked in.

Fabian shook his head. "Never mind. My feet are softer or more delicate I guess,"[/i] he tried to explain. How the girl had gained that state he had no idea and something told him he didn't want to know.

Fabian thought about it for a second and then nodded. "You know, that might just be it," he said with a grin and heard the rest of her words. "I'm not sure, a habit I guess. We can always change that though." he said as he took them off and let them drop besides him. "This is actually much more comfortable..."

She smiled and made a few bounces then approached him.
-Come on, I'm sure it will be fun.-she said tugging at his sleeve.

Fabian followed her but then shook his head. "Me taking my shoes on doesn't mean I've become imune to it," he said calmly as he started to shake. He cursed as he tried to dry his feet to put his shoes on. Once he somewhat succeeded he put on his shoes again.

"How can you not be cold? Wait, never mind I think I might not want to know. I'll skate with you but I have to wear shoes."He ranted off.
