Frivolous?

Ava tensed a bit at Maddie's words, and she looked at her with disbelief, annoyance and, to be honest, amusement. Had Ava's words really pissed Maddie off that badly? Normally Ava would've challenged Maddie into a fight right then and there, but Ava thought the reason for their fight wasn't good or heavy enough for that. Besides, she knew Maddie was bluffing and didn't want to hurt her. Ava sighed and waved her hand.
"I only fight if I know I can lose as well as win, and if I know I can progress myself through it. But if we two fought it wouldn't benefit anyone, and you would only get hurt. You can try to rile me up, Maddie, and you'll probably succeed. Hell the words you just said pissed me off. But you won't get me to fight you. I'm a dragon and prideful as fuck. But not stupid."
