Mike slowly opened his eyes. As he got up he was immediatly greeted with two familar voices. Oh god what happened? Isn't it obivous? We are somewhere we weren't and we have no idea where that is. Mike groaned "Shut up. Seriously guys there's sand in the cybernetics and I can't get it out! Osiris where are we?!" The AI gave a long....annoyed sigh I don't know. I can't see what your seeing. And don't describe it to me. "Why not?" Cause last time you described something to me I thought you were right next to a shark.....it was a fucking dolphin Mike. Mike shrugged and began to walk down the coast trying to figure things out. Last thing he remembered was getting sucked into a black hole......and then he woke up here. Seriously where the hell where they? Earth? But....how?! They were drifting off in space just a few seconds ago!

Maddie was walking along the shoreline with Bandit, every once in a while she would pause to throw a stick far into the water and watch as he swam to get it. Each time she tried to throw it a little further.

She was just pulling her arm back to throw the stick again when she saw Mike and stopped short.

Mike continued to walk untill he got a good view of the person across from him. He quickly jogged over and gave her a wide smile. "Excuse me miss. Could you perhaps know where we are? Cause I sure don't." Mike who are you talking to?! I told you never to talk to random people! They might work for the agency! Mike completly ignored what Osiris said. He had enough of them right now, not like that would shut them up.

"This is Manta Carlos," Maddie said before tossing the stick into the water.

Bandit didn't follow it. He was staring at the man, standing at Maddie's said, somewhat between her and Mike.

"How did you manage to get here without knowing where you were coming?"

Why was she meeting so many people who came here without realizing?

Mike was silent.....his mind was buzzing with the AI Manta.......Carlos.........no records of this place have ever existed. Yet people are here. I would think that she would be a native but she speaks English. Why was this never recorded? "I don't know Osiris....I don't know. Maybe....the agency kept this place a secret?"But the government would have known! You would have- "Yes I know! But I don't know....Manta Carlos.......I.........the ocean is so clean....I thought nearly all of it was polluted with oil by 2317......how......"

Maddie was awkwardly staring at him.

"Um..."

Was he talking to her? He didn't seem like he was talking to her? This island got weirder every day.

"Manta Carlos is for people with special abilities," she said slowly, thinking that might clear some things up. "It's kept secret through magic... and yeah, I guess the ocean is pretty clean here?"

Now her head was spinning.

Mike looked at her with a look only a truly confused person could give. "Ma-......Magic?" Mike couldn't help but laugh. He gave a long hard one. "Oh boy that's rich. Sorry to burst your bubble sweet cheeks but magic is just a thing from the old tales. Everything that seems magic is just technology being as advanced as possible." Mike.....what if she's telling the truth? Mike frowned and put a hand on her face "Osiris.....she's likely been told that to cover up that this place is likely harboring secret prototypes."

Maddie frowned, it was a look more of frustration than anything.

"Watch," she said, taking a few steps away.

Bandit remained where he was, sitting and staring at the man.

In the next second, Maddie had warped into a lynx. She yawned and shook herself off to rid herself of the last remaining tingles in her spine.

Mike stared at the Lynx wide eyed. "Incredible...." he muttered under his breath. What is it Mike? Mike gave a wide grin "Well Osiris...it seems magic is infact real." I told you it was a possibility! "Oh shut up." Mike extended his cybernetic arm toward the Lynx. "My name is Mike Keith"

Bandit shifted, so he was between Maddie and Mike, blocking Mike from touching her. The dog didn't growl or snarl, but it's ears were down and his head was low.

Maddie sneezed at Bandit before returning to her human form, again having to shake off the last sensations of the change in her spine. She hated transforming so close together like that.

"I'm Maddie Lennox."

Instead of taking his hand, Maddie laid hers on Bandit's head to calm him.

"So, how did you get here without knowing about this place? Most people are invited."
