He smiled, seeing that he was the reason she believed in God. But, then again, it was so...flimsy. His eyes looked at her, and his hand squeesed back. "I love you too. Just do me a favor.

Never leave my sight." He smiled, his heart now poured onto her, it was almost like a binding of his own, a bind of two hearts.

She felt his hand squeeze back, she loved him so much. She heard his words and wanted so much to furfill them. "Valentine, if only I could... I can't stay constantly in your sight though, I mean I still have to live in a separate dorm then you and it's all too hard to constantly stay in your sight. But I can promise that I'll never leave your heart, and I also can promise you won't leave mine." she said squeezing his hand again lightly and lovingly. She loved him so much, she wished she never had to leave his side.

He smirked, "No, I don't mean that, I mean, by my sight I mean, just don't go away. Don't leave my heart." He looked down, Just don't stop loving me the way you have so far...

Valentine looked at the mid-day sun, and saw that the gym class was ending. "Well, I guess I made it through gym class unnoticed."

She smiled lightly, "Valentine I won't leave your heart, because it's the only place I feel loved. And you'll never leave mine, because I give it to you. Your the only one who can take my heart or break my heart. And I know I would never want to hurt you or stop loving you." She said squeezing his hand as she said the words.

He squeesed her hand back, but didn't want to go overboard like he did last time. He looked down, and then quickly changed the subject. "What was in your past?" He wondered if she would be insulted by hsi changing of the subject. ''

Valentine also wished she would understand.

She understood... "Well you know most of it, my mom's death the small memories of her. My dad's abuse to me and also the whole him killing his mistresses and that all and me becoming a vampire, me meeting Percy and all. My prayer for a friend, school life I didn't go into but it was a lot like with you. I was kinda the misfit in school, dad wouldn't buy me necessities for class and such because of his obsession with his own happiness.

So I had to work it out with the teacher, often by helping with their housework and such and I was often picked on by the other kids while doing it. I remember beating one to a pulp after they dared call me their slave. As I said I had the power of fire back then, of course it was weak. But it still was there and it was rather refreshing when I discovered it and accidently made a girl's skirt catch fire and it burnt a hole showing her underwear... The whole class had a laugh, the girl wasn't hurt except her pride. But I was always in trouble, always picked on. Parents in the town were no better than the kids, they were always gossiping about my father and making comments about me and treating me oddly and then their kids would hear and only tell me those things to hurt me more."
She said with a sigh.

He looked at her, "Well, I guess now we have each other." He looked down, his eyes shaking from the amount of sadness in both their lives. It was a feeling he could live with, but it was something that he never liked.

"C'mon. Lets go. We can go get something for lunch and talk a little more. If you were able to go anywhere in the world, where would you go?" He smiled, hoping it would answer a couple questions.

She smiled lightly squeezing his hand, "That we do, I'm so glad we met. I don't know what I'd be doing right now without you. I know it's been a short while but I can't imagine my life without you already. It's kinda odd, but I like it."

"Sure lunch sounds okay, but you going to be able to stay awake the rest of the day?" She asked still concerned about his well-being. "Um... anywhere in the world, hmm... It truly doesn't matter if I'm not with the one I love, but I can tell you the places I wouldn't want to go if I had a choice. I wouldn't want to go to Antartica or the desert unless it was civilized in the desert but sorry no Anartica for me..." She said with a chuckle.

He was somewhat dissapointed with the answers he had gotten, but he made no sign of it. He shrugged, better luck next time. Valentine got up, wearysome, but still able to hike himself to the cafeteria. On the way, he had dared.

He did dare.

"What is your favorite type of music?" He wanted to know if she had a favorite band, or if she even liked music.

"Hmm... I don't know really, I never really was able to listen to music a lot. But Classical is good, I like some love songs and I do love disney songs but I'm kinda clueless about music, except I heard rap once and it was like garbage the words and techo is too strange." She said raising a eyebrow, "You don't happen to like that do you?" She said a little worried if she said something bad about something he liked. She hoped he didn't though.

He had a sarcastic tone to his voice, "Oh I love rap! How can you just hate the cursing every two seconds." He smiled and shook his head.

"No, really I hate rap also, but I have an appreciation for wordless techno." He shrugged, "But I also like rock, classical rock." He hoped she would detect the sarcasm in his voice so he didn't seem like a nut to her...again.
