Maddie jumped through to her room.
She grabbed her suitcase and packed as quickly as she could, excitement knotting her stomach. Bandit had followed her in, so she had to shoo him back into Laetus' apartment.
By the time she was done packing, Maddie's hair was a mess. She was wearing jeans and a simple purple t-shirt and sneakers.

Maddie only had a small suitcase with her, and Bandit had been put on a leash. She didn't want to lose him in Paris.
She looked Laetus over, seemingly disappointed by something, then she smiled and whatever dissatisfaction she had been feeling was gone.
"I don't know much about Europe, so I guess you'll be leading us around?"
She went to stand next to him and hold his hand. She wondered what he had in mind, if anything?

"I don't know much about Europe, so I guess you'll be leading us around?"
She went to stand next to him and hold his hand. She wondered what he had in mind, if anything?
Laetus shrugged. "I've only been a few times, and I barely know French, but that never stopped me from having fun." He held her hand tight and opened a portal in front of them. He kissed her cheek before heading through.
On the other side, they were at the top of the Eiffel Tower, looking out at the whole city.
