The woman was looking at a heap of papers not arranged but scattered over the desk. She layed her head down on the table just as the couple came in. "Don't people knock these days?" She said with a grumble, her brain was dead. At DCA she always had a assistant to do the horrible paperwork and now she had to actually do things other than overlook. She grumbled, annoyed at how hard this stuff was.

She looked at the couple, aggrevated... "You didn't do as you asked, you were supposed to get married and instead you disappeared and came back sick as a dog that had castor's oil. You do realize if you had any possible brains you'd have told us before hand you were ill and you wouldn't get in trouble." She spouted this without a thought, the only thought in her head was. Stupid paperwork -_-

She looked at the girl, examining her. She rang a bell, "Did you beat a few men a month or two back?" She asked remembering several claims against a girl beating men on the street. She chuckled. "Of course you wouldn't." It was her way of warning students that they could easily get in trouble with her.

The girl squeezed Valentine's hand, she wondered how the headmistress knew about that. She wished the headmistress would just get it over with.

His heart felt for Amelia as she squeesed his hand.

Best way to get good is to get even.

He sighed, "So, headmistress, I can ask the same question except did you have any affairs with any men because you are single, but let's not get into that. I actually came to know if I can graduate by helping you with this paperwork, or by helping around the office, or even by being a janitor." The boy had never thought of actually going back to the classes knowing that the teachers hadn't liked him because they stereotyped hium as the rebellious type.

"Your a real idiot aren't you? I can't stand men so why in the bloody world would I go out with one. And why don't you just go back to class and graduate that way or are you afraid of the teachers? You know they bite terribly I think they have rabies that's why I chose them." She said with a chuckle.

"I'm not going to treat you special just because you know I hate paperwork. Besides it disappears with one light." She said fire coming from the tip of her finger, she then stopped knowing it'd be stupid to set it on fire.

"Wouldn't setting it on fire be kind of a stupid thing to do since those are tuition forms, bills for the school, reciepts, and checks to be mailed towards the teachers. To answer your question in a serious tone, I am afraid of the teachers because you know what? I'm a real jerk around them, and so the golden rule states that they can be one back to me. So, it is either I go out into the city and try to find a job, or you can try and give me a future in the art department. Then again, you aren't a child advocator now are you?"

He sighed, knowing that this little rant would be futile and that he would have to leave. Bursting forth from his arm was his glass bone, shifting into a vase full of glass flowers.

"My bones grow back. Don't worry, oh, forgot to tell you. That was why I left, because it hurt like hell ravaged through my body. Ask your hospital wing. They'd be happy to tell you."

"I already know, you get no pity from me though. But as for your future, I know you already want to marry this girl and I've given my permission so here's the deal. Set the date, give me the info and I'll think out a idea. But I'm not going to do it for pity and besides the fact I would have you do the paperwork but since you ust escaped the hospital I'll give you a break. Be in my office tomorrow sometime, I don't like early mornings so don't come then unless you want to be turned into melted glass." She said to them. "Show yourself out."

Looking down the nineteen year old sighed, "Just trying to be polite on this last question, but I want to know why you want to organize our wedding?" He said, turning himself to walk out.

"I don't want to, but if I'm giving you a job and a way to not deal with teachers you bloody well be married or else I'd be pulling strings for no reason." She said to him not caring anything about his or her feelings and la-de-da because she had been hurt enough in the past. She figured others could get used to it too.

Before Valentine could say anything in return Amelia gave his hand a tug in a 'don't get her angry or she might not agree' way. They were lucky to get that response out of her. If they were to annoy her by thanking or argueing she'd probably throw fire at them. She ignored them digging into the papers on her desk.

Valentine smirked and laughed a couple seconds later, "Maybe you should think of having a man, maybe you'd show some of this new side more often." Shutting the door carefully, the nineteen-year-old continued to chuckle.

Maybe she could show that twelve year old smoker a thing or two.

"Maybe you should think of having a man, maybe you'd show some of this new side more often."

She wanted to deck him right then and there but the door shut in her face. She mumbled, "GET A MAN MY FOOT!" She said thinking of going to the boy's dorm and setting his room on fire. Even though he wouldn't be there. Though she really didn't care about that now did she?

Amelia smiled, "She's not all that bad, just erm... odd." She said trying to think of something good about her other than yielding to their wants. "Oh well at least she's gonna pull strings according to what she said." She said with a smile squeezing Valentine's hand.

He chuckled some, "Yeah, I know, that's why I said what I said. In her own way, she was kind of nice to me there?" He really wasn't sure of that last comment, but shrugging, his mind twisted and turned, thinking of different restaurants, places, things that will make up for the lost time.

If he could make up for it.

(Go to the city for the new topic ;))
