Amelia sat by Valentine's side as the doctor came in, it had been a week since she had came here with Valentine. She looked at Valentine she slipped her hand in his giving it a light reassuring squeeze. The doctor came in the room, it was 10:00am in the morning. Amelia hadn't eaten much the past week from worry. She knew she'd have to get some blood within a day since she was fasting sort of. She wanted to not leave Valentine's side and often felt hungry for blood but didn't say a word.

She looked at the doctor he came to bring the news of his sight and health. She hoped he'd be able to leave the hospital today she knew it must've been hard on him to stay in the hospital all this time.

The door creaked open with a forty year old man with graying black hair and a semi coffee stained smile upon his face. Grinning the doctor merely looked upon his pad and raised his eyebrow.

"It is unusual, but then again most of the problems we get in this hospital are pretty odd. Well, the scans that I made show that you are indeed becoming one big glass vase. The upside is that you are becoming 'one with your powers.' The downside of this is that with each transformation, the pain will probably get worse and since it is happening in an unconstant rate I can not help with the pain. Not even with my own powers. The best thing to do would probably try and sustain yourself by fighting it off...like a bad cold." Sighing the doctor looked at Valentine, whose eyes were completely well by the fourth day of the week, much to the doctor's and Valentine's surprise.

Then again Amelia had been breathing on him all week, talking and all.

The two were close, and it was a cute, but odd relationship. They both were so odd and crazed. It wasn't for him to judge though.

"Great, sounds like a bundle of joy." There goes that trite humor again.

Amelia smiled, she was so glad he had gotten his sight back. She now could finally be there for him, he was going to be out of the hospital and she was planning on constantly being with him unless unforeseen things got in the way. She inwardly wished they were already married, that way there wouldn't be too many unforeseen details. She shook the doctor's hand, "Thank you for taking care of him." She said with a light smile. She knew he didn't do too much, but she knew that the doctor did do something. She was thankful for that everso little that he did because he did it to the most precious thing in the world to her. Though probably if it was her she'd have yelled at him.

She knew Valentine could be a bit sarcastic but she didn't mind. She just smiled and slipped her hand in his. She had been by his side all week, she barely left it except for going to the restroom and of course usual daily things that couldn't be avoided like showering and stuff back at her dorm. But she always never left very long seeing she was a vampire. She also did her feedings often very quickly so she didn't have to be away from his side long. One could say she was a bit clingy nonetheless, but of course she'd never admit to it. She loved Valentine with all her being and if something happened to him she didn't want him to suffer alone.

The late tenager got up from his bed and sighed shaking his head, breaking out a dry ten dollar bill. "Give the nurse who took care of me this. If I hear that she never got it I swear I am coming after you." It wasn't the money that had sparked the bit of anger within but the sentiment that he shared with her. She was nice and took care of him and most importantly put up with him for that time.

"Come. We have a bit of business to work out with the principal. Or at least I do before I have to graduate this year." He looked down and smirked, wanting to go to the one with a temper like him. She understood more and was a better principal.

"Give the nurse who took care of me this. If I hear that she never got it I swear I am coming after you."

Amelia smiled, Valentine was the love of her life. Some people didn't like him for his temper, but Amelia had one that matched his so in that way they were a perfect fit. Her eyes looked at the one she loved as the man scurried away scared.

"Come. We have a bit of business to work out with the principal. Or at least I do before I have to graduate this year."

She slipped her hand in Valentine's, she leaned over leaving a kiss on his cheek. They were finally free from the hospital, she could finally hold his hand in her's and not feel afraid he wouldn't get better. She squeezed his hand lightly. She wanted to be with him forever, every minute she thought about him wanting to be with him whenever she was away from him. He was the other half of her she needed him just as much as he needed her.

With the times being just right, her kiss on the cheek allowed him to smirk and kiss her back on the cheek. "Before we go to the principal's office, maybe we can redo that romantic night that we couln't have a couple nights ago, thanks to two children." He winked at her and thought of those two children who had almost literally plunged them to their deaths.

It was a scary moment at that point but now that he was better, they could go for a night out at a restaurant followed by a moonlit scene. Thinking of those two things he changed his mind.

"Nevermind...after the principal's office I want you to meet me outside the school. Bring a gown, not just a dress. You need to give me until about 5 to make plans." He smirked once more and then kissed her upon the lips, "Thanks for taking care of me."

She smiled as they both kissed eachother's cheek.

"Before we go to the principal's office, maybe we can redo that romantic night that we couln't have a couple nights ago, thanks to two children."

She smiled nodding lightly, she was so glad he was alive and well. She remembered the agony before he came back and now she was back with the love of her life. Her lips smiled, she fought back some tears for a second and then managed to control them. She was so glad they both were together alive again.

"Nevermind...after the principal's office I want you to meet me outside the school. Bring a gown, not just a dress. You need to give me until about 5 to make plans."

She smiled again, "Okay." Her eyes looked at him so lovingly just so glad for him. And so madly in love with him, her eyes sparkled slightly when he kissed her. She kissed him back lightly then moreso than she intended, but a bit longer of a kiss wasn't disagreeable to him.

"Thanks for taking care of me."

"I'd have been miserable if I didn't, Valentine...." She hugged him quickly and unexpectedly, "I'm just so glad your here." She still had been getting over losing him and everything she was so glad to have him back and well and in her arms again. She kissed his cheek again, "Okay let's go to the Principle's." She said looking at him lovingly re-holding his hand again.

Sighing in bliss once more, the glass bender clasped her hand and then stood there. Walking once more, Valentine held his arm over her shoulder drawing her close to him.

Sure the walk was a bit awkward.

Then again, so was he.

The walk towards the principal's office was about five minutes, but as that goes along, his eyes looked upon hers. His smile was genuine and his clasp somewhat tight.

Then again, he didn't care.

"Well, we're here." Seemed like only a couple of seconds.

She smiled their hands clasped, she never felt so in love with him. The whole sickness situation had only made her love him more. She felt herself being drawn closer to him. She smiled her eyes looking at his, she was the only person on this earth she would give her life for with no regrets.

She wanted to just always be with him, but she knew it wasn't that easy. She knew that was why they were seeing the principle to get permission to marry. Or thats what she thought it was. She only could hope the woman wouldn't get too offended if he or she blew their temper.

The walk seemed so short seeing they both kept gazing into eachothers eyes everso often. His grasp on her hand grew tighter but she didn't mind. She loved him so much that the tightness was nothing compared to the love his hand was telling her's of.

"Well, we're here."

She smiled squeezing his hand slightly nervous, she turned giving him a quick hug before they entered. Her hand never left his.

Gulping some, Valentine looked towards her wondering if the principal could actually let him graduate. He needed to or else he couldn't go and get a job at an art facility. He couldn't get a job anywhere really.

He would have to prove himself each time. And with that...it would come som hardship since he was this...thing. Shaking his head, the door opened towards the principal.

"Hello, I think I scheduled this about a week ago, right?" The ninetieen year old sighed and took his seat, hoping she wouldn't explode on him for leaving school ofr those two months and being a slacker for most of the years.

His grades until now were C's...nothing really to be proud of.
