- Teleportation: With this ability the twins can teleport between any unobserved points. Technically, in the moment no one is staring at them they both exists and do not exist in all unseen locations. Being observed it limited to anyone but themselves (IE: one twin staring at another does not stop them from using their abilities), but they cannot teleport while in sight of automated surveillance (cameras etc.).
Because their powers are also integrated with probability, unless there is a 0% chance (the location is observed) they can teleport to a given location or a 100% (they are well acquainted with the area), there is always a chance they will go to a location they didn’t plan to. To change that, they have to use their probability power as well as teleportation (see below).
- Unobserved Healing: While not being observed the twins can heal their wounds at a 15% faster rate than normal humans (this can be changed using their probability manipulation. For that, read below). If they haven’t finished healing 100% when someone looks at them, they immediately revert back to how wounded they were before they were originally unobserved.
This power also allows them to revive. When killed and unobserved, the twins will teleport to an unknown location and revive. Afterward, they will heal.
Probability Manipulation:
- Using this ability, the twins can change the probability of any given event, bad luck or good luck. Imagine they have a probability of 100% in any given day (like a mana bar), now let’s say they want to make something with a 5% chance to increase. They make it a 15% chance, changing their probability bar of the day to 85%. At any given time that they wish to change an outcome, they have to use this “mana” bar. When it hits 0%, they can no longer use this power that day. Every bit of probability they use is added to the “black box effect” (see below).
The twins cannot change anything with a probability of 0% or 100%; they may also not change any probability to 0% or 100%. Indeed, they are only capable of altering the unknown. For instance, they can change their chance to win the lottery after buying a ticket, only if no one (not even themselves) know the numbers on the ticket. Or opening a box to find it is full of money only if no one knew what was actually supposed to be in the box or how much it weighed.
Weaknesses:
- Black Box Effect: This effect occurs at the end of every week. Every bit of probability they use throughout the week is added to the black box. Say they’ve used up all their probability every day of all week. On Sunday they would have a negative probability of 600% that will need to be used throughout the day. This is probability they cannot control and will happen to them and everyone around them. On this day, what can go wrong, will. On Sunday, their probability manipulation is pretty much useless, as all the negative probability they have gathered will be constantly working against them until it has reached 0%.
- Limbo State: When not being viewed by anyone, the twins are in a limbo state of existence and non-existence. This is a cold, lonely feeling, as though one is about to completely disappear. It has the tendency to cause panic attacks and make the person in limbo feel extremely cold. During limbo state, they’re not fully present or gone. ?
