July 10th is Manta Carlos' official founding day when the first pirates stepped onto the Island and decided to settle there.
Because Manta Carlos is such a melting pot of different cultures and species, there is no set way to celebrate this holiday. Instead, Manta Carlos sets up a potluck in City Hall starting at 5 PM. Local food service businesses are encouraged to provide food, as well.
