Eein sat, his back against a large rock. His eyes slightly upward as he watched a pair of birds bouncing around the branches. In the last year he'd felt a great connection to his nature half, especially as his animal based empathy and telepathy developed. Like right now, he could sense the birds, feel their basic emotions.. they were mates, currently annoyed at each other.

It was during his magically enhanced bird watching when they appeared, from a tree no less. The dragon would blink in surprise, looking at the being that looked like some sort of tree, deer, hybrid.

"Uh....hi?" he'd say, tilting his head and sitting up a bit. "Don't think I know," he'd stand and stretch a bit, his eyes looking over the odd being. @Pallas

Emerging from the tree bark as though they were pulling back a curtain, Glade steps forth and looks upon Alora's son. He looked nothing like his mother looking at his eyes... that was she needed to this that his was Alora's child. As Eein looked to her with bewilderment, Glade looked back with a mixture joy and sorrow.

"Eein... at last I have found you." Glade give the boy a warm smile, as though old friends reuniting despite them being total strangers to one another "Your mother... she would be so proud to see you grown up as you are now and it saddens that I instead stand where she should have. Your mother would used to speak to me at great lengths all about about you when you were first born and I am sorry it is only now that finally come face to face after so many years." with a heavy sigh, the nature being fall to one knee and bows to the boy in a sudden fashion as if he were royalty.

"Eein son of Alora, I Glade of Oaks have long searched for you since your mother's passing so I may humbly offer my services to you as a weapon shifter so that you may wield me for the purposes of good and righteousness just as your mother once have. I understand if this request as quite sudden and there is much to be discussed but as you are Alora's heir that makes you the only one fitting enough to wield me."

With her plea stated, Glade remains rigid as they continue to maintain their bow, waiting for Eein's response once he was able to muster one.

Eein would blink in surprise at the sudden info dump that'd come from the odd nature. "W-what?....wait..," he'd squint at her, "Glade?.....Glade the Blade?" Yes, he remembered hearing about her, she was one of the few things about his mother's past that he'd been told about.

"Oh fuck....you're....you're alive," he'd take a step towards her. "I....I remember mom telling me about you," it was going on two years since the death of his parents, so much had happened since then.

"You're.....you're here for me?" he'd ask, "and stop bowing, you don't need to fo that." The bowing seemed a little unnecessary to him, though he didn't know if there was a cultural reason behind it.

"Of course." said Glade as they looked up to Eein. They nod to him and rise from her bowing posture to stand tall and straight once again.

"Yes still very much alive and I yes have come for you young Eein. I am here to lend my strength to you and protect you from those my choose to do you harm. Thus I have come for you to weild me and train you in the art of the sword if you so accept. I am sure you are full of questions and have... much to say. So please... do speak your mind young one."

As Glade stands, several birds can seen landing upon her branches and a curious crawling up one of her legs. Glade seems unfazed of the critters now on her, focused entirely on Eein for the moment.

This was a lot, a lot to take in. "I...ok then," he'd take a breath, glancing up at the gathering birds. "So.....yeah," he'd clear his throat, trying to get back to his usual confident self.

"So, a weapon shifter?" he remembered his mom talking about, a nature spirit/weapon shift combo. "I remember seeing a really old photo of you and mom, from before I was born."

He'd look at her a moment. "Where have you been?" he'd ask. "A lot happened... where were you?"

There was nod, followed by smile when told about photographs. She thought it so odd at the time that Alora insisted on getting a photograph. Now sort of glad to have put up with it back then so that Eein had a chance to know about her.

"Ah yes... those photographs are quite old though for me it felt just like moments ago... but back to your questions."

Glade shifts her posture a bit to allow for the squirrel a cozy spot next to her shoulder and give the critter a gentle pat on the head.

"Correct, I am a weapon shifter and I'm able to transform into a greatsword. As for where I have been... " she let out a sigh before continuing "... I sought solitude in the wildernesses of the earth seeking peace and quite. Ever since the evil from beyond the stars destroyed Esteria I've been plagued regrets and so sheltered myself in the calm of the forest. Alora she understood and so allowed me to roam but... had I known what would befall her I would have never left... I was her sword and should have been by her side."

He'd look at the squirrel, making a mental note to ask her about the animal thing later. "Esteria.......that giant tree," he'd met one of the dragons from there, but hadn't visited it. "You know the giant tree is here?" so much was happening.

"What......what happened to her wasn't your fault," he'd say with a sight. "I wish I could have done something....I should have," he'd look at her. "Wait.......how did you know she died?" this was all strange.

"You said you were off isolated somewhere?" unless, "could you sense it or something?"

"Yes... I was aware of it's presence upon my arrival here. The tree is all that is left of that world that once was. Curious that it both you and the tree both choose to come here of all places... perhaps it is destiny?" wondered Glade, fate was fickle and mysterious force that at times had sense of humor to it. When questioned how she knew of Alora's passing she looked Eein with shame before letting her head hang low.

"You mother and I shared bond. A connection but sword and user that is felt no matter how great the distance between us was. I do not know the exact fate that befell her but given how sudden it our connection was severed... I knew that something terrible had occurred..."

He'd listen to her, humming in thought, letting her finish before he spoke. "It....what happened was complicated," it hurt to talk about it. "A corrupt leader from my dad's clan had them killed....I barely got away," it'd torn him up having to run, he'd been dealing with the guilt.

The young dragon would sigh. "Well....the leader died and a member of the clan took me in," so much had happened on what seemed so little time. "Well....I've been here ever since, just, y'know, living here."

Eein would look at her a moment, letting the info sink in. "So, yeah," he'd clear his throat. "A lot has happened, and I guess you just arrived?" a lot of new people seem to be arriving since the move to the pocket dimension. "Wait....you said you were going to partner up with me now?"

Glade could only offer a solemn nod after being told what sparse details Eein had to offer her. She could take some some resolution that the one whom offered their death's was no more but one death does not bring back another.

"I speak truth. I offer to be your blade and teach you the ways of being a warrior if you choose to walk that path. It is the most that I can do for you but if this arrangement is not for you then..." Glade then bit their lower lip, having not really considered her options should Eein declined. It was not her place to force him down the road of her choosing after all.

"... I suppose I will return to the tree and find myself a place there to await purpose. Though I have already decided my course of action, what of you? If you require time I understand. It is much of me to ask of you such a proposition in this sudden fashion."
