Farea agreed surprisingly easily, but that just made things more simple for both Zyta and the android. So Zyta nodded as well, and took out her phone.
"I will now contact this person who will repair you. To inform him of our arrival. The distance between this place and his location is about three miles, will you have problems making that?"
Zyta asked this all while she typed a text on her phone and sent it to her boss. In it she merely informed she had met an android that needed immediate repairs and that her skills weren't enough. He replied almost immediately, just saying to hurry up and bring them over. That answer almost made Zyta smile.

"Distance: Miles. Unknown unit. However I shall follow for repairs. Lead the way." The tubes smoothly slammed back into her body as she awaited Zyta's lead. Farea expressed interest when the woman pulled out her phone, and curious of how it worked, turned on all her visual sensors to pick up any radiation that may come from the device. And lo and behold she saw more than she had expected. She had no records of using this feature, perhaps because of the damages she sustained, however, Farea simply observed. Her spider eyes wouldn't give off much in the way of exposing the activation of their multiple readings of available wavelengths, save for some micro adjustments. Not only was Zyta giving off some radiation in the infrared range, but her device that she used to communicate with another sent out bursts of undirected radiation. But there were more radio signals pulsing from unknown sources. She would turn her attention towards the city, where various faint readings came from. A lot brighter to her than the forest behind her.

Oh, Farea wasn't aware of miles. Well, suppose she wouldn't be if no one had programmed it into her. Zyta should later suggest if Farea wanted to acquire that knowledge.
"I will trust you can make the journey. You seem to have enough function."
Zyta concluded with a nod.

Zyta took notice of Farea's interest towards her phone, and after receiving the answer from her boss she lifted it higher for Farea to have a better view.
"This is a cellular phone. It's a telecommunication device that uses radio waves to relay messages within a networked area. A kind of two-way radio. The signals are transmitted via orbital satellites and that enables communication over vast distances. I just messaged my benefactor who is currently in space."
Zyta explained, she didn't know how detailed information Farea could gather by simply observing, and she most probably couldn't get names for things by simply scanning them.
"If you wish I will give you one later to take apart and investigate."
And with that Zyta put her phone away, nodded for Farea to follow and began walking, perhaps still exchanging some words with the android.

It took about 30 minutes to reach populated areas again, and when they did reach them Zyta was surprised how little looks Farea got despite her peculiar appearance even on this island's standards. Or perhaps all the people on this island were still much more used to strange creatures than Zyta was.
It would take another 20 minutes to reach the teleporters, and as they arrived to them Zyta turned to look at Farea.
"These are devices, that will transfer us to a space station that is currently situated somewhere in the Milky Way. The person who can fix you is there."

Farea nodded in acknowledgement, confident that her form would be a match for endurance against organics from what she observed. They suffered from tissue that can be overworked easily, leading to exhaustion. Zyta showed her the communications device she had used to contact her 'boss', and gave her new knowledge on how the device worked. Perhaps Zyta's species weren't homogeneous in their technology level, and not just by their sapience. Farea decided to take note of this, and agree to Zyta's proposition of lending her a similar device to study. A huge but helpful leap from her previous studies. Farea was intrigued when she saw the habitat Zyta brought her to. There were many specimens she had never encountered before, along with similar, but docile lower creatures, and the non-visual radiation had become blinding with multiple signal impulses firing every microsecond. Additionally, she has gained insight on how long a mile was, but it was an approximation from their travel. The android scrutinized the teleportation device for a moment and nodded. "Does this transporter employ wormholes or does it dematerialize oneself and copy the data to an end point?"

As they entered populated area Zyta did slow down a bit, giving Farea time to observe their surroundings. The android had already expressed that she was here to study the planet and her surroundings, and since Farea wasn't hostile Zyta wanted to let her do just that.

Farea's question was valid, and Zyta hummed in thought and looked at the teleportation devices.
"I still haven't familiarized myself with this technology. It is something we both still have yet to learn about. Perhaps we can learn the answer together after we have fixed you."
Zyta sent Farea a small smile, even if the android didn't necessarily know the meaning of such a gesture. And after that Zyta gestured for Farea to follow and she lead the both of them to the teleporters and through them.

So Zyta herself didn't know what made the teleporters work. More evidence for the heterogeneous mix of technologies this ecosystem has. "I will be interested in learning more about this teleporter, along with what other technologies are available." Once things were said and done, Farea headed into the teleporter, guided by Zyta. This was indeed an interesting turn of events.

On the other side of the teleporter Farea would see a rather spacious lobby, that had many windows opening to the space around the station. Zyta had seen it all before and didn't pay much mind to it, but she walked more slowly if Farea wanted to take time to familiarize herself with this environment.

"Our destination is not far from here."
Zyta informed Farea as they left the lobby, heading to the left along the uppermost ring of the station. They would then move on to the second ring and from there the third, and it took 15 minutes to arrive to the shop. Zyta sent one more message to her boss that they were outside, and then she held the door open for Farea. It was unusually big one for larger people like Farea.

The teleportation was disorienting. It made her vision glitch out for a moment before everything went to normal and she saw a very different atmosphere right before her eyes. She looked out the window, and felt some familiarity with the massive darkness speckled with dots of twinkling lights. Farea followed Zyta onwards to their destination, all the while observing the station's insides with a critical, if not cautious eye. Zyta opened a door and believing this was where they were supposed to be, she entered.
