Fortunately and unfortunately

a sort of 'make a story' thing in which the first person says something good, next person says something bad. Example:

person 1: Bob got free tickets to go to Hawaii.
person 2: unfortunately, they expired two days ago.
person 3: fortunately, he persuaded the airline staff to let him go
person 1: unfortunately, the plane crashed in the middle of the sea
person whoever: fortunately, there was a desert island nearby

I've said fortunately so many times it doesn't seem like a word anymore.

Anyway, the game keeps going until whenever. I don't know. I'll start it off

Once upon a time, blah blah, Alexander won a new sports car.

Unfortunate he left his phone inside and the key to open the back gate and front door are still down the drain.
