Forest Run!

Aedan jumped from branch to branch, he liked the forest, despite his knowledge in tech, he truly loved nature. He stopped chuckling as he did. But now he had a new friend to spend time with here..well two..but Thane was a surprise for Adelyn. "You all right Adelyn?" he asked teasingly, the girl could probably outrun him if she could.

While Aeden made his way through the forest in the branches, Adelyn had shifted into her wolf form and kept up on the ground. She would have almost been majestic—a lithe, silver wolf running through the maze of trees with ease…if she didn’t have a habit of sticking the tip of her tongue out while running.

Adelyn came to an abrupt halt as she sniffed at the air, before shifting back into her human form.

“Wolves have definitely been here!” Adelyn said as she looked up at Aeden with a big grin. “They were here very recently too! So they can’t be all that far!”

She let out a happy little squeak sound, excited to finally see some wolves on the island. Wolves, werewolves, wolf shifters--Adelyn was eager to meet any of them!

He smiled down at his friend, "there's a friendly pack that lives near here." He often sat in the trees and craved statues of them. He climbed down beside her, "there's one wolf in particular who's a friend of mine.........where the hell is he?"

He ran up hopping onto a fallen log, he sent his thoughts out to Thane. "Give me a sec....he likes to nap after eating." You'd think a thousand year old demi-god wolf would be on time.

From there left a seven foot tall wolf with gray and blue wolf emerged from the woods. Aedan eyed him, "late again are we...could wait to hunt until we got here? We have a guest....so rude of you."

Aedan placed his hand on Thane's heas, "Adelyn this my hunting partner, Thane. I thought me and him could help you sharpen your hunting skills if your up for it."

Adelyn tilted her head curiously as Aeden was searching around. Was something else to go see the wolf pack with them that she didn't know about?

But it turned out to be even better: it WAS a wolf! A HUGE wolf with an aura the likes of which Adelyn had never experienced before.

"O-oh my goodness..." Adelyn's eyes were beaming as she stared at the large wolf.

"Hello Thane! I'm Adelyn!" she said as she approached, taking in the other's scent. The scent told of an ancient being with more history than she could probably even fathom. She had never met such an ancient creature.

"Hey, I'm a pretty good hunter, you know," Adelyn commented with a teasing pout. "I was a designated hunter in my clan because I have so much energy!"

She giggled, but then added: "But...I would love to see how a wolf who has lived so long hunts!"

Aedan scratched Thane's neck chuckleing at Adelyn's excitement, he knew she'd like Thane, "he cant really talk...I can hear his thoughts though....he says its good to meet you."

He laughed a little at her playful defense of her hunting skills and playful pouting, "I know your good...probably better than me." The girl had had her enhanced senses all her life, he'd had his for two years. He smiled and patted Thane's side, "well this old wolf says he'd be happy to hunt with you....and I'll be here as well."

He pulled his crossbow from his back and made sure it was good to go, "Thane says theres a herd of deer not to far from here." He crawled on top of Thane's back, and smiled at her "so...you ready to hunt?"
