Andrasta sort of rocked her head side to side. She wasn't sure how to put this. "I... used to prank the teachers all the time. And my dorm parent, before I got a foster family. Like one time I snuck into the school over the weekend and put glue in the keyhole for the door to my teacher's office. It hardened and she couldn't get her stuff for Monday's class."

She was trying not to seem proud of it. On a certain level she was proud, though, because that prank owned. But she wasn't going to endorse that kind of behavior now, of all times.

"I don't do that kind of thing anymore, though." She was firm on that. She wanted to win President. She didn't want to get disqualified.

Lizzy frowned as Andrasta said she didn't do pranks anymore. "I assume I wouldn't be able to talk you into helping me prank Orsick then? Lizzy asked. Getting the feeling that she'd just have to stick to the rumor, though pranks were always more her style.

She did make a mental note to try out the glue trick at some point though, albeit with her own flair.

"Nah, prolly not. Don't wanna mess up my chance of winning by causing that kind of trouble. Plus we're gonna be be on student council together, and I don't want to make him hate me." She shrugged and finished off her breadstick.

"I'll probably just talk to him about this, though. And kick his arse a little if I have to." In the off chance that Orsick was actually in the wrong on this, she liked to believe that she would totally get on his case. That's the kind of friendship they had, she thought, where they would call each other out on stuff like this if they had to.

Lizzy

That last part stuck out to Lizzy. While she was all for seeing Orsick get his ass kicked, Lizzy was curious when Andrasta said she was going to go "talk to him."

"Uh-huh.. And by 'talk to him' you mean, tell him he's in the wrong, right?" Lizzy said with air quotes. If Andrasta meant confronting him over what had happened that could be a good thing. But if Andrasta tried to get Orsicks side of what had happened, that could complicate things a bit.

Plus Andrasta had seemed interested in why Lizzy disliked Orsick, which she didn't really get. She didn't like a lot of people on the island, so then why was Andrasta concerned with one person in particular? Even if he was the soon to be ex student council president.

Andrasta just shrugged. "I mean I'll talk to him."

She ate another couple of bites, thinking for a moment about how she'd bring this up with Orsick. Then she shelved that. It was probably a good time for a subject change.

"...Do you think you'd go to a party at the lake, if the school was putting it on? And if it got warmer out, obviously."

Lizzy

"Depends on who'd be there really." Lizzy said with a shrug. Though the idea did interest her, there were some people she'd rather stay away from.

"Just out of curiosity, why do you care how I feel about Orsick? I mean, he isn't you, so I don't see why you should care how I feel about him." Lizzy asked, completely ignoring Andrastas attempt at a subject change, besides the whole "I'll talk to him" thing was starting to nag her a little, and Andrasta never really clarified what she meant by that.

Andrasta thought about this for a second, then decided to come out with the truth. She wasn't going to make everyone happy. "I mean, I've known him for years, we hang out sometimes, and we're probably gonna be on the council together. So I guess the rumor was kinda bothering me."

She sipped her drink again. "What I really didn't want to do was be like, 'oh he's my friend, he'd never do that, you're a big liar' when I don't really know anything. Because I've gotta be better than that."

Lizzy

Lizzy stared at Andrasta for a few seconds, processing what she had said. So not only did she know Orsick, but from the sounds of it, they were also friends. And despite her claims that she didn't want to just assume Lizzy was lying just because Orsick was her friend, what other reason did she have to hide her friendship from her?

"Uh-huh.. And that's why you didn't tell me sooner.. No, you just want to know my side of things so you can go confirm to Orsick that I'm the one in the wrong. Ya know, before now I was starting to think you were kinda cool. But I was wrong." Lizzy said, mentally kicking herself for thinking that maybe Andrasta was okay. This island was full of liars and assholes, and Andrasta seemed to fit into both categories
