Sevina's interest in cults began when she was captured by the very people that tortured her. It wasn't exactly the same people she worked with now, otherwise she would have already skinned them and threw them onto a bed of salt. But they were close. They were useful to her to get closer to those who did unspeakable things to her. To achieve her goal, she had to be useful too, so that she may rise in the ranks and when she's reached the top, she would kick the house of cards down. One of doing so was infiltrating other cults, which she soon found to be more enjoyable the longer she did so. She absorbed every practice into the fibers of her being. And used those to get rid of the problematic cults that stood in her way, and also bring those mindless fools over to her side.
It seems she would find another group here. She had recently been upping her campaign in indoctrinating civilians and criminals alike to gain friends in low places, simply so she could root herself in the city. One of the people she had under her thumb was distressed, and she could still feel it. She was a recent addition, and so the link between them was still fresh. It was easy to find them being cornered in an alley. From what it sounded like, the group that trapped her was trying to steal her away from Sevina's grasp, knowingly or not.
Now, Sevina wasn't angry nor disappointed, in fact she seemed thrilled! She could bring them into the fold, finally people that seemed to know what they were doing.
"Did I interrupt something?" Sevina said, stepping into the alley, her boots thudding.
