Kenta eased up, but didn't relax as much as he would, made obvious by his tails laying still. She... still doesn't seem happy... She won't get more mad now though. What do I do next? What... Did I do in the first place?
"Kenta...Why did you turn into a fox?' Shay asked after a prolonged moment of silent petting. She looked to the ceiling of the burrow thoughtfully, fingers entwined in the fur at his scruff.
Kenta looked up at her when she spoke. He cant speak in this form... Should I... will she be more mad if I don't answer? He moved on her lap and rubbed up against her. I wanna stay like this. How do I... He looked up at her again with his bright eyes, hoping she would just be happy. Hes smiled in this form before. Could she tell he wasn't? Should he be? Would that make all this better?
"You're trying to make me feel better, aren't you?" she said it more like a fact than a question. She lifted him so she could put his little nose to hers. "You're cute like this. Be glad for that."
He looked at her in the eyes for a moment. It... really worked. Yay cuteness! He smiled and licked the tip of her nose. His tails even started swaying their usual way.
Shay giggled when he licked her nose. She turned her head away. "S-Stop! That tickles." She looked to him and buried her nose into the fur of his head to snuggle him.
Kenta let out a little noise one might assume was a laugh. He then reached his paws up to hold onto her cheeks, so he could pull his lower half up and tickle under her chin with his tails. In this position, the little fox was basically wrapped around her face.
Kenta let her knock him off, sticking the landing rather gracefully next to her head as she fell on her side. Then, in her vulnerable position, tail tickles continued.
