<div align=center>Where they went didn't really bother Kida, he took what he could get, especially when someone as pretty as Tristin offered it to him. He supposed this could be frowned upon, since the boy was a student. But Kida was only the doctor, did he hold any real authority? Not really. He was there to treat cuts and scrapes and whatever other maladies students came rushing into him with. The worse he'd seen was a boy who'd been scorched up his arm by- well, in truth, he didn't really know what had happened, a lot of students had strange powers here. The friend that had been with him had insisted over and over again that it had been a complete accident, that he hadn't meant to set his friend on fire, or had he electrocuted him? Kida didn't really recall, but he thought it had been the latter.

Kida knew the place, he'd been there once or twice to get coffee, though usually alone, he didn't keep company very often, he wasn't all that friendly with any other staff members, he found most of them... Overly professional in most cases. He trailed absently after Tristin, leveling with him after a moment's walking and sliding his hands into his own pockets.

"Pretty sure I've been there before." He answered, glancing sideways at the boy, gracing him with a small, friendly little smile that might just have had a hint of something else in it.</div>

Kida was cute. It had been so long since he had ever had anything interesting to do, so this was a lucky break. he was giddy, exited, eager, hormonal and wondering where things would end up. that is, if he was even able to get that far. Kida was staff, after all. White hair bobbed behind him as he made his way over towards the door after mentioning the cafe, hiding behind an innocent frame- devious and naughty thoughts. Irresistible, delectable treats for the mind; smells and sounds nearly in reach, yet so far away at the same time. How big was this chocolate bar, undoubtedly filled with sweet caramel?

He passed through the threshold into the hallway, empty except for one or two people here and there. Concerned with their business as they were, probably did not notice the student with the Dr. trailing behind. Hearing footsteps now at pace with his, he looked to the side at Kida, hearing him speak. "'Course, you've probably been around here a lot longer than I have" he giggled in return. Man,he was so new it wasn't even funny. he hardly knew people around here. The boy thought on this as he pushed open the school's entrance doors and walked out " Oh, do you have a car? I don't, so if you don't either, then we're going to have to walk"

<div align=center>Kida's mind set told him that him being staff didn't matter- he wasn't a teacher after all. He seldom dealt with student relations, unless of course they came to him in a bloody mess or with some strange illness. It was usually the nurses that dealt with the more minor illnesses and scrapes, he was rather glad that he'd been the only one on campus this afternoon, however. Kida's luck wasn't usually so good. His eyes flickered over the boy for a brief moment before he ended up leveling with him, his form was nice, Kida might even have said perfect.

The man shrugged, "I guess you could say that." He laughed softly, "can't say in all thirty years I've been alive that I've been anywhere as interesting as this though." Kida's healing powers weren't his only benefit, along with his fiery nature came real fire. He could control it well, but it wasn't half as refined as his healing was. "I've got a car," he answered, he didn't mind driving all that much. It was only into town, that wasn't far. "though if you wanted to we could walk... However, I'm feeling lazy and town's pretty far on foot." He shot a small, charming little smile in the boy's direction, fishing in his pocket for a moment for a set of keys and dangling them at eye level.</div>

It was as they headed out that he thought, and he thought many things over that brief while. Mostly, these thoughts concerned Kida, what he would get at the cafe, and how much money he had in his wallet since he had been shopping yesterday; but he was sure he had enough. Sure...enough, at least. His mind turned back to the present moment, whatever, if he only had enough for one then so be it. Opening the doors to the bright light of day, he felt cold wind slapping gently across his face. Ah, after all, it was January. The air that went up his nostrils burnt cold from the stark contrast of the warm school air he had been breathing in just a few seconds before. He spoke, listened, replied.

He let out an experimental breath, particles of water vaporizing into the sky in a puff of... cloud? Condensation? Whatever the heck it was called. Mentioning that there would be a walk ahead, he received a well awaited answer that yes, there was a car available. Not that he would have normally minded walking; it was just cold. Tristin jumped at the answer " Yes! Yes, let's not walk" He grinned happily at the shiny, jingly, dangling keys hanging in view. " Hope it has air conditioning" he added, about to follow the man where he may lead. Ah, a nice warm car trip was so much nicer than a cold walk.

<div align=center>Kida hunched his shoulders and shivered as the cold air bit at him. Though he supposed his body temperature didn't drop quite as much as others, that was the handy part about having fire powers, he was a downside lot warmer than most other people, his skin was usually somewhere between pleasantly warm and hot to the touch, depending on what he'd been doing. Never cold though, Kida never really felt cold- though that didn't mean he liked the winter weather. Summer was his month, when he had enough time to enjoy it at least. Summer was far less dangerous than winter, less sickness and less injuries. That didn't stop the odd student from getting burned or having to deal with heatstroke, though.

"Sure it has air conditioning." He answered with a laugh, "and heated seats as well if you're lucky." He purred, shooting a flirtatious little smile in Tristin's direction and tilting his head to the side. Besides, the journey would be shorter in a car. A little voice in the back of his head kept wondering where this would end up. Another little voice was murmuring things far less appropriate. "Wouldn't want you getting cold, would I?" He asked, an eyebrow flicking upward.</div>

Ah, he couldn't wait for Spring to show up. Happy at Kida's answer, he followed behind him to the parking lot. he wondered which one it was; was Kida a guy with a fancy car? Or one of those really trashy looking ones? Although, he couldn't quite see him driving anything less than a at least a moderately respectable vehicle. His lips pursed, 'heated seats' was something that could be translated in many ways; literally, figuratively, inappropriately. If anything could get him into the older man's lap, though... fingers rubbed at his cheeks, kneading away at pink hue that was not there before.

"You would have to keep me warm then, right?" The boy murmured in reply to the other, a small toothy smile appearing. he could tell the context of the situation by observing facial, body gestures; and what he observed from Kida so far was very much coquettish. How close would he get to this man? Something felt a bit unpleasant, a bit sour for him upon considering a one-time encounter. Perhaps he would not let him get too far at first; and see if he could string him along for a while, before considering things again. He usually did that if he felt that there was a chance that he could pursue deeper things.

<div align=center>Kida's car was nice enough, on his paycheck at least. Kida wouldn't be seen in anything classed as 'trashy,' he was far too much of a perfectionist for that. "Hey, I'm not opposed to that." He said with a shrug, he couldn't much think of any reason why he would be opposed to that. Anything to be in the company of someone as cute as him. He glanced over to look at the boy again, holding the look this time. He studied him properly, Tristin was delicate and nicely built, with the kind of face that was hard to find in dive bars and street corners.

Kida's mindset prevented him from thinking about the future, though he didn't exactly live in the moment either, situations like this were common occurrences for him, though not with someone as pretty as this guy for as long as I can remember. Though it wasn't just his face that Kida liked, the boy was bubbly and mischievous, Kida somehow got the feeling he knew what he was doing. He clicked the button on his keys which was in turn met with a beep from a dark, sleek car nearby. He swung the door to the passenger seat open, and held it for Tristin. "Maybe we can even cosy up and get to know each other better if it gets too cold, huh?"</div>
