build;; Because she is made of goo, build is something that isn’t strict. Roughly she appears that she would be quite a bit chubby but still toned, if she had any muscles or bones to speak of. She has a soft pear shape to her, since her hips are a bit wider than her chest, which is above average on its own. Her torso is a bit longer than her legs as well. Again though, she can change any feature about her at will. All she needs to remember though is that she has to keep at least some structure if she doesn’t want to be a pile of mush.
hair;; This is something that always stays the same for some reason. Since she is goo, there are no strands of hair, but rather one big mass that makes a shape. Because of this she tends to keep her hairstyles simple. Straight across bangs, with the rest of hair either curling or poofing down to her chest. She tries to keep it contained in order to convey a sense of professionalism at work via an updo.
Distinguishing features;;
GOOEY: As stated, she is made entirely of some sort of gooey substance. Her body is translucent and usually a mint aqua color. It is humanoid, but the rest of her is anything but. It appears she’s always dripping, or at least around her hair and limbs she tends to seep and leave her mark wherever she goes. The features of her face are mere outlines, though are quite apparent even from a distance. Fortunately for her, her goo never truly depletes and is always growing back even after a massive loss.
Attire;;
WORK- She’s almost always on the prowl for a good story. That being said, she likes to dress for success almost 24/7. Blazers, pencil skirts, nice blouses, peplum dresses and pumps are almost a staple for her. She like tighter clothing anyway. Not to show herself off, but to rather contain herself from collapsing into a puddle. It’s also amusing to note that she at least attempts to do makeup.
CASUAL- Casual? What’s that? Well anyway, when she does, she dresses clean and femininely. Ironed, pressed, clean feminine clothing. Tight as always, of course. She enjoys business casual especially.

-GELATINOUS FORM: Flo is entirely composed of a semi solid that varies in malleability and structure. Because of this, she has been granted other powers associated with her ability.
•Consistency: Depending on her mental control, her body can range from the feeling of Jell-O all the way to a runny mess. She can either solidly grip something and leave no residue or leave a goopy trail on whoever she shakes hands with. Usually, she has the balance between these two extremes, though she tends to struggle a bit with maintaining that middle ground. Sorta like honey, except not as sticky.
•Technical Invulnerability: Zap her with lightening. Hit her with a truck. Roll her into a basketball and free throw her. Whatever it is, this slime girl ain't going anywhere. That sort of resilience is excellent in her field, because she literally bounces back every time the going gets tough.
•Adaptive color: Her genetic makeup is... A bit hard to understand. But because of a substance she was made with, she has the ability to change her color. Whether it's by mood, heat, or just for the hell of it, she can go from bubblegum pink to chartreuse in the blink of an eye.
•Malleability: She can grow, shrink, stretch... I mean, she's goo.

•She can fall apart. It takes a lot for her to stay together, and if she doesn't, she could end up as a puddle.
•The cold. She might freeze in place after the temperature drops a certain point. And that would be very bad.

For a child prodigy like young Mathias Gomez, the annual science fair was a breeze to get done. He was an insane genius, and to take home the coveted first prize he knew he had to blow away the judges. However, in the mid seventies, he found himself at a bust when he was trying to find away to create sentience among ordinary objects. It was a simple calculation and formula in theory, so why wasn't it working?

Two days before the actual fair, Mister North decided it was a bust, and anything he attempted that day wasn't going to go right. Even when he was attempting to make mint gelatin in order to make himself feel better. So along with the formula, he dumped the instant packet down the a sink in the boy's restroom. Flushing it down, he went to make yet another demonstration on how water can be used to replicate storm cloud patterns. An A for sure, since the standards at the time were low in his 'humble' opinion, but it wasn't what he wanted...

But of course, this was a blessing in disguise.

On the day of the science fair, Mathias went to present his project as usual. But just as he did, he heard screaming and turned to see that everyone in the gymnasium was bolting away from the front doors. Being the curious young boy he was, he ran towards the danger.

And there she was. A girl, about his age, stood in the entrance. But she was no ordinary girl. She was made solidly of the compound he dumped down the sink. A goo girl.

So as any mad scientist would do to their creation, he took her under his wing and taught her basic human things. How to speak, how to problem solve, and most importantly, how to deal with the world around her. When she was taken out into the rain for the first time, it clicked. She loved the weather. She wanted to learn more, and went around asking people about it. At this point, people were used to the girl made of goo. So they answered her question, but instantly after that, she wanted to know more. She was inquisitive by nature. Her thirst for knowledge was almost frightening. So much so that she would meet her downfall as such.

Now in his late teens, Mathias one day took his creation out for a walk. Telling her about as much as he knew about the world beyond their school, and how, in a week, he would graduate. He promised to take her around the world with the money he earned through his research. Florencia, as he called her, had never wanted anything more. But out from the bushes stepped a man in a suit. He wanted to pay Mathias one hundred million for his creation, so they could recreate the process.

But Mathias said no. He made a promise to her. This official however, wouldn't take no for an answer.

So they were separated. Forced by other men who entered the clearing into separate black vans. To be taken away to separate places.

Flo never saw him again.

Fortunately though, the officials forgot to remember one thing- she was made of goo. Her cage couldn't keep her, which caused her to melt herself in order to sneak through to bars and out through the shut back door.
From there, she reformed, and ran as far as her legs possibly could carry her. She tried her best to keep herself from as many people as possible, until she found herself near a dead wheat field in the middle of nowhere. There was but one house anywhere in site. And she was craving real food.

She snuck in, being as sneaky as possible. But of course, her sticky feet left a trail wherever she went. The owner of the house caught her in action, just as she was about to eat a whole roast chicken.

Fortunately for her, this estranged man was a former student of Starlight Academy. And boy did he have a place for her.

Ever since she had enrolled, Flo found herself fascinated by people and places, nature and technology. She wanted to learn it all, and thus dedicated her life to finding the next story, the next discovery in what it meant to be human. For the greater good.

And for him.
