Noel just let the little guy rant, raising an eyebrow in amusement but rather unfazed by his snarky attitude, and then spoke, his voice calm, appeasing, friendly and patient.
"I can fix your toy easily," he said very simply as he stared at Fenn.
"However, I couldn't easily fix it if the creator, who enchanted it using his own magic, was still alive though," he explained pushing his spectacles up with a finger until they sat on the bridge off his nose. "If your friend was still with us, I'd have to undo the spell used and reenchant the dragonfly." he told Fenn gently. Then,
"And, I am sorry for your loss, your friend was a great toymaker, the world is a sadder place I suspect," Noel remarked kindly as he peered again at the dragonfly and nodded. Yes. He could fix it, he surmised.
"Did you want to wait?" Noel asked him suddenly, "I have mint tea if you want some?" he offered.
