@"Poptart"
The day was hot, it burned the fair-skinned child's flesh. She was dressed in a pair of shorts and a tank top, but after getting dressed she had fled from the daycare center, to roam the island on her own.
In the end she had gotten lost, and had cried for a little bit until someone had shown her the fishies. She was now sitting on the railing on the pier, tottering dangerously on the wooden ledge, her sandals had already fallen into the water, was she to be next?
The little child with her overly large and pointed ears; ears that she would later become ashamed of - stared down into the water, trying to find a fishie. After about thirty minutes of this, she starts to get bored - and soon starts crying.
She can't get down from the ledge by herself, and she doesn't know where 'home' is - this is quite literally, she just stays in the orphanage when school isn't in-session and she's not on campus with the pre-k teachers. She whimpered to herself and released the ledge, rubbing at her face roughly - she didn't like crying.
