Monday frowned thoughtfully as he listened to Candle. He was somewhat disappointed that the tome didn't belong to Grostman. However, as she continued to elaborate, Monday started flipping through the book curiously and saw that it was actually quite full of useful information.

"Candle," Monday began as he glanced around hesitantly to see who was nearby, "Look ... The book mentions sources," he said as he looked at her meaningfully and held the book out to her, gesturing towards some footnotes on one page that contained quotes, and then to a page listing where the documents and books where the author took their information.

Candle did as instructed, looking at the footnotes that he was gesturing to them. It took Candle a moment to realize what Monday was trying to lead them onto.

"Ahhhh... yes I see. So its possible that this book could lead us to other books. To which if we are lucky-" Candle opens the book to its last few pages, containing a list of book references that extends several texts. "- Grostman's could be one such name cited here."

There was however a lot of citations to go through and there appeared to have been no order to how they were all organized. It would take a keen eye to make out Grostman's name among all of the scribbles, assuming that his name was even mentioned at all.

"Yes, that is exactly what I was thinking," Monday said, lowering his voice somewhat as he peered closely at the book and at the citations on the back pages. A few of which actually appeared to be parts of collections housed at specific libraries. Although which ones Monday wasn't too sure as he wasn't that familiar with foreign libraries.

"Maybe we should check the book out, copy down the sources and see I we can find out where the libraries mentioned are?" he suggested.

"A reasonable suggestion. It can prove a useful tool to know where to look next." mentioned Candle. They step back from the book and resume a proper stature. "Shall we head to the front desk now? We can study it more in depth once we return to our residence. I may also prepare some tea for you when we get back if you so like."

Yes, let's check this out and go home where we can go through it better," Monday nodded, agreeing very much with Candle's idea. Take the book home, and study it calmly - where others won´t get suspicious of their interest in the book.

Taking the book up to the front desk, Monday asked Ms. Bishop if they could check the tome out - which they could thankfully.

"Thank you for all your help," Monday told the librarian.

"My pleasure, just remember the book needs to be back by the end of the month," she said reminding them of the due date.

"We will," Monday said as Candle and him excused themselves and then hurried back home, grabbing a passing taxi along the way that dropped them back at home within minutes.

"We are home..." Monday called out, which was met with a squawk of delight and the sound of nails on the hardwood as Garry came scurrying into the room.

"Candle! Candle, Can-dle!" the bird singsonged happily when the two arrived back from their adventures.

Candle bowed to Ms. Bishop before leaving the library with Monday. Once outside it did not take long for them to hail a taxi to take them back to their residence. Candle followed Monday through the front door as he opened it, just in time to hear Garry's squawking.

"Hello Garry. We have returned" calmly spoke Candle as they enter the home. They bent down and held out their arm for Garry to perch on. Once the parrot was comfortable on their arm, they stood back up with Garry in hand. "How is Garry? Is Garry hungry? It is close to your feeding time if I recall."

Candle stroke along the parrot's feathery backside, making sure to give him a few scritches behind his head bore she glanced over to Monday.

"Shall I feed Garry first before I come to assist you in our research?" promoted Candle, whom was still scratching behind Garry's head.

If a bird could purr, then Garry was definitely purring. The parrot was making contented little bird sounds as he perched himself comfortably on Candle, very clearly enjoying the fire elemental's attention.

"Candle give Garry peanut," he chirped happily as the blue macaw bobbed his head up and down excitedly at the idea, purposefully letting out a small stream of fire, hoping to exchange the fire for his favorite snack.

Shaking his head at Garry's very obvious tactics at getting a treat, Monday had to grin, the bird was very obviously Candle's biggest fan and admirer. "You can feed Garry if you want. I'll get the tea going meanwhile, and then we can look at the book together," he suggested good-naturedly as he gave Garry's breast feathers a little scratch before he went to the kitchen to put on the kettle.

"Yes, I will give you a peanut in just a moment." answered Candle, their free hand snapping to catch the little burp of fire. They hold the flame inbetween their fingers, looking at it with a leery gaze before their attention turns to Monday. "Very well, I will return to you once Garry has been fed. I will only be but a moment."

Candle give Monday a single affirmative before setting off to the kitchen now that they had his permission to feed the macaw. After popping the flame that they held into their mouth, Candle would open the cupboards and poured a bowl of assorted nuts for Garry to feed on. Candle make sure to pluck out a peanut from the pile to gift to Garry to both of their amusement.

"You spoil him," Monday grinned as he watched Candle feed Garry while he waited for the water to boil. Glad though that she actually seemed to have bonded with the fire breathing macaw. Garry obviously adored her and, much to his surprise, seemed to have become more her pet than his.

"I am just gonna grab a notebook," Monday said after he had made his cup of tea. "Then we can start looking through the book."

Letting Candle finish up, Monday grabbed a notebook he kept around the house for writing down lists and whatnots, and a pen. Then he sat down at the table with his cup of tea and started browsing through the book, copying down an odd fact of two that interested him while he waited for Candle.
