Valli didn't have to worry about giving Thabisa false hope, she was keeping her hopes down all on her own. But she did give Valli more points in her mind for not being all like "You're going to be fine!" or "Just hang in there, champ!" or some other empty words of encouragement like that. It would've only pissed Thabisa off. Facts and truth were what Thabisa appreciated the most.Thabisa stood up to receive the business cards and looked them through real quick. All of them seemed legit enough, Thabisa decided to try and call some of these guys after looking them up and doing some research. She could be impulsive but with this she wanted to make sure.
"Yeah, sure, in few weeks sounds good. I gotta do some self-reflecting and stuff..."
Thabisa said with a nod, and pocketed the business cards. She grabbed her stuff and headed out after saying a quick goodbye. But before Thabisa stepped out she kind of hesitantly turned around to face Valli one more time.
"Uh...thanks."
And with that Thabisa closed the door behind her and walked off.
