First Session: Eli/Elisa

Valli's specialty was trauma. That was what he dealt with first and foremost, the reason he'd become a therapist at all. But that wasn't the only thing he did. He had received all the usual training, and he could handle more general cases as well. So when someone said they needed it more urgently, sometimes they went to Valli.

He didn't know why though. He hadn't been told any details beyond a name, and when Valli opened the door to find two faces, it took him a moment to process.

"...Eli?" Valli said, glancing between the two.

Valli glanced between them once more, and then gestured for them to come in, stepping out of the way. Having someone's partner come in with them wasn't entirely unheard of, but it was definitely a bit odd for the first time. He waved them both in, closing the door behind himself, and then let them pick where they'd like to sit before taking a seat himself.

"I understand you were seeking an appointment, but I wasn't given any other details. I should start by clarifying three points. One: I have a low level aura which makes me appear more put together. However, this doesn't tamper with your own thought process any more than me brushing my hair a bit more every morning would. Two: If I see you in public, I won't acknowledge you unless you do first. Three: Anything you stay in here is strictly confidential. I can only break confidentiality in the event that there is immediate danger to someone."

Valli paused a moment, his eyes flicking over to Autumn.

"Generally speaking I recommend establishing a therapist-patient relationship before introducing anyone else, but I understand if you'd like your partner here for emotional support."

Valli had seen the signs, but he hadn't paid all that much attention to the whole thing. Even when prompted with that girl that got the position of treasurer, he didn't quite get it. Not until she popped the charm on, at which point Valli made a very quiet oh.

Well then.

"Understandable," Valli said. "That was... Elisa?" Eli and Elisa. "Can you explain a bit more about the situation? In particular, when did you first start presenting yourself to others as Elisa?"

Valli had a lot to process. She'd only been doing it since August. Issues with identity. Tying their confidence to their alternate form. Difficulty getting dates. Sex.

And then Valli's entire thought process slammed to a halt when he heard a squee outside the door.

Valli's usually calm expression twitched slightly, and Valli stood up, moving quickly to the door and throwing it open.

No second guess who was standing outside.

Valli's tone of voice did very little to hide his obvious anger, and what little he did manage to suppress--mostly to keep himself from yelling--was clearly reflected in his body.

"Are you a student here?" Valli asked Autumn, wondering to himself if she'd bolt.
